This is the story of how I tried to get the Hunter Biden laptop evidence to the authorities.

My life changed forever on April 12, 2019, when Hunter Biden stumbled into my shop requesting data recovery from one of his liquid-damaged laptops. After his father announced his candidacy for president of the United States, and Hunter failed to pay for and collect his computer, fear for my safety grew. There was paperwork in Hunter’s possession giving me permission to examine and copy his data—someone was going to come looking for the laptop, and come looking for me. Concerned that I was sitting on evidence in a criminal investigation, I set out to hand everything over to the FBI. But, feeling betrayed by the FBI’s inaction in providing the laptop as evidence during the impeachment trial, I then turned to Congress, and ultimately, to a lawyer for the president, Rudy Giuliani. When the story broke, Big Tech and social and mainstream media blocked the reporting. I was instantly labeled as a hacker and a criminal. My actions were labeled Russian disinformation, and it didn’t take long before people started attacking my business and my character, forcing me to close my shop and flee the state.

About the Author

Born into a military family on May 3, 1976, John Paul Mac Isaac was a very creative and artistic child. With a visual impairment related to his albinism, he found more enjoyment quietly drawing than participating on a field. As the effects on his vision started to impact his early teens, he found escape in the creation of computer graphics. Eventually, he landed a job with the Department of Education, fixing Macs in Delaware schools. His dreams of being a media creator were sidetracked by the realization that he could make a living fixing computers and supporting other creative Mac users. He still pursued his creative dreams by filming and archiving airmen from WWII through Vietnam, but fixing Macs was his profession. He was hired in 2004 to be a part of the soon-to-open Apple store in northern Delaware and spent the next five years with Apple, building a reputation for quality customer service. After no longer seeing eye to eye on how customer service should be executed, he left Apple in 2010 to open his own shop. He provided five-star service and support to the Apple community for nearly ten years until becoming caught up in the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. Now his life has been forever changed.

What an enlightening read! For decades, I never thought our government could treat someone or a group of people so underhandedly but I was wrong. Ronald Reagan said it well. Do an internet search on the text: "Liberal Fascism Explained by Ronald Reagan" and you will hear the truth in a youtube video unless they cover that up too. I hope we can root out this evil very soon as it has become what one would expect in a corrupt fascist or communist country. Sadly, some people accept this corruption and tyranny but someday, it may and likely will impact them or their children too if we do not root out this evil. The book is well written.

Disclaimer: I am reviewing the book as a book, not the opinions expressed in it.

This book is written as a single person narrative and can be read over the course of several hours by a reasonably fast reader. It's much like just having the author sitting with you, telling you a story. The main plot points could have been contained in a much shorter narrative, but the extra details in the narrative allow the reader (this one anyway) to visualize the story and create a sort of movie in one's head. I didn't have to work to enjoy this book.

Also, this book is useful for setting the context -- background material if you wish -- for much of what looks like will consume the new, GOP controlled House of Representatives in the near future.

Finally, I couldn't help but wonder what I would have done if I found myself in a similar situation. The author didn't ask for what happened to him, and some of the twists and turns in the story (including a brief love interest -- didn't see that coming) made me a bit amazed this story is available for me to read at all.

Very easy to read. Almost like a script for a movie. A regular person caught up in international politics. Someone will turn this into a movie. I hope the producer/director emphasizes the regular person aspect instead of playing up the political thriller aspects.

This is not a political screed. This is just the first person narrative of what happened to a computer repair guy when Hunter Biden dropped off three busted Macs and left never to return to pick them up.

The author wanted to do the right thing, and to him, that meant turning the laptop over to the government, for he expected the government to do the right thing.

Like another reviewer, I kept wondering what I would have done in a similar situation.

What this seems comes down to is Hunter Biden is an irresponsible idiot! & the author who tried to the do the right thing by turning sensitive information over to responsible government agencies had his livelihood destroyed.

This is such a gripping story, that it was difficult for me to stop reading it. It makes no difference if you are political or apolitical. (Is there such a word?) I can only say that our forefathers must be turning over in their graves hearing what is presented in this riveting expose. Though tumbled upon accidentally, the greed and corruption that is exposed here will really make any honest and gentle person want to punch someone, or try to figure out a way to alert more people about all this. Does the name Hunter Biden ring a bell? For sure. He's the son of our president. I really hope that the phrase "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" doesn't apply here, but I begin to quiver at the thought that it might and, probably, does.
