"An idea that is not dangerous is unworthy of being called an idea at all. "

If you would like to read a trite/boring book, look elsewhere. If you want something that will expand your horizons and be a terrific read, then pick up American Taboo. Ms. Jones' collection of short stories will arouse both the mind and body. At the same time, it takes the time to develop characters and write like one of America's top young writers in any category. I'm really happy I picked up the book!

Wow,
What can I say about this. I picked this book up on a whim because I was intrigued by the title and cover. From the first page I was drawn in and couldn't put the book down. I think it only took me 2 days to read through the whole book. After reading I have been craving more from this author and I will definitely read anything that she writes. Each story within this book is detailed perfectly and takes the characters to new depths of an erotic world that i haven't seen before. Her imagination runs deep took my mind into places I didn't know existed. Thank you Madison, I can't wait to read what's next!

Delivering the reader into a world where normal fantasy becomes obsolete. The reader is taken into a mindful, dark, and sexually charged world. Where the only thing taboo is taboo itself.

The interesting theme about the stories come together from actual events that have shaped these themes. Many women have these fantasies but are too shy to actually pursue them. These are FAR from boring, unravel the deeply eroticism world of Hollywood, and break through previous boundaries which have limited fetish authors for decades.

I'd recommend.

Madison Ava Jones has a seriously deviant mind. If you are looking for supermarket romance, this is not it. If you are looking to be taken into the depths of your unconscious in a very naturalistic way, these ten stories will give you very strange dreams and a wet pair of undissolved.

In American Taboo Madison Ava Jones portrays a culmination of exuberantly delightful sexually explicit short stories. Ms. Jones captures the tribulations endured by the mundane lifestyle of a traveling professional and her transition into an insatiable kinkstress. The naivety of a timid sexually inexperienced white female is expunged with a thrust into the realm of erotica as she encounters the taboo of coitus with a black male. This book is an enchanting read for any enthusiast of adult literature.

I like this book. It was very steamy. The cover of the book makes you curious what is in it. A must read.

In the new HBO serial "Girls" Lena Dunham transformed fantasies of raping 11-year-old heroin addicts from taboo into the mainstream pop culture. The New York Review of Books went so far as to call it "liberating." Those of us who get off on the wrong side of social taboos must look ever farther afield for fodder. Enter Madison Ava Jones whose latest work American Taboo drips with the twisted lusts of an author writing about a subject she clearly knows best. It takes just a few pages to realize that Ms. Ava Jones writes with a libidinous grit that sets her apart from most other erotica authors. She's clearly not some bored undersexed suburban housewife channeling unrealized fantasy into her diary after carpooling the kids to school.

Ms. Ava Jones writes with the same urgency that her legions of masturbating readers must feel while reading her. It's an almost desperate effort to release the bubbling carnal yearnings coursing through her -- and our -- concupiscent veins. And in that wanton spiral she lets her most indelicate urges get the better of good manners. Page after page she shatters socio-norms, even by the standards of graphic porn.

"I want to confess that I was raped and tell you how good it felt," one story in American Taboo begins. It is sure to elicit theatrical gasps from victorians more disturbed by how much it warms their crotches than by the idea itself and from supposed feminists who think that that female empowerment amounts to reconsigning women to a more recently written but no less rigid role. And when Ms. Ava Jones writes about black male whores chained around the neck like the all American slave you get the sense that this southern demirep is just as "true blooded" as her character Charlotte in Spanking Klan. Spankings in Ms.

I am all for exploring the boundaries of desire and allowing erotica to help us get off on taboo subjects. I really do get that.

However, I really, really wish I'd known about the rampant racism that pervades every fantasy before I purchased this. It's insulting on every level to any person of color or immigrant to this country. Hell, it's insulting to women. Also, the subtitle of this book should simply be, "C'mon, you know every woman secretly enjoys being raped."
