I was looking for an engaging Amish romance and I found one in this enticing novel! As I read it in one day! All of the characters (Rebekah, Joshua, and their children) were all charming and their story was so intriguing that I could NOT get enough of it! It could be why I was a bit disappointed that the ending finished as it did as I felt it could have been longer and/or Ms. Brown could have showed a greater relationship wrap-up between Joshua and Rebekah if there was a bit more to the scene when they were delivering of their boppli.
Nevertheless, I found Joshua and Rebekah’s relationship to be a sweet hesitant romance that was enjoyable to witness as their love grew for one another. While taking on major story topics, you see how this considerate couple brings their families together and slowly find that who they really need out of life is one another. They captivated me with their love story. I’m so happy they got together!
I recommend this novel to those hoping to find a riveting sweet Amish romance!

In the general community this would turn into a story where the lady rented out the fields and ran a website design business from home, but those kind of options aren't open to our heroine. So this is similar to a sweet historical romance while firmly in a modern setting. The writing style reads easily while being very descriptive. Anyone looking to start reading Amish romances will enjoy the tale and look for more.
I downloaded a copy from Net Galley for an unbiased review.
This is a nice clean Amish romance. It also deals with abuse and alcohol which you don't think of in the
Amish. There is plenty of cute characters, Amish lifestyle. Just a good story.
Rebekah Burkholder is a widow. She has a toddler son and a baby on the way. She is hiding secrets.
Her husband and her friend from childhood, Joshua Stoltzfus asks her to marry him.
Joshua is a widower with three children. He needs help with his children. He is still in love with his deceased wife. He also feels that he should have done more for his friends widow. Rebekah was beautiful and a good friend.
Rebekah is afraid to tell people about her abuse because she is afraid that people will always look on her son to see if he acts like his father.
I like them trying to blend their families and grow closer together. There are some real funny moments in the story.
I would read more books by Jo Ann Brown in the future.
I was given this ebook from NetGalley and Harlequin. In return I agreed to give a honest review of An Amish Match.
Rebekah was married to one of Joshua’s best friends and he know he can never fill his shoes or replace her love for him, he is also three years widowed and still madly in love with his deceased wife.
Rebekah is keeping secrets from her new husband, and he has noticed how she flinches from his touch, will he regret his decision? His family of two sons and a daughter welcome Rebekah and Sammy and love they way the house has cleaned up and the mouth-watering meals that they are now enjoying.
Will all of this come to an end because of Rebekah’s past? Will his children decide they don’t want her in their live as a mother?
Come and enjoy this really sweet, page-turning read. I’m so glad I turned the first cover.
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Harlequin, and was not required to give a positive review.
