Story four is by Kelly Irvin One Sweet Kiss: Jacob King and Martha Byler are meant to be together that is by everyone else's except Martha. Martha has been the caregiver for her brothers and sisters ever since her mother died when Martha was a young girl, however now her dad married but Martha can't let go and trust Jacob who is holding on to his arumspringa and she feels that adds to her list of people to care for and that's just to much.
Jacob believes he can still have Martha and some fun at the same time, he also lost his mother at a young age so he knows how she feels but he also thinks Marths is not giving him credit. This is a wonderful story of learning to let go of the pain of the past and trusting the future. it's a story of love for what can be when you let go of one stage of life and embrace another. Another wonderful short story by Kelly Irvin
