Beautiful! This is a solid gorgeous piece. One other reviewer had mentioned the line of the two halves of the sphere is visible. This made me nervous but turns out, this is not the case. The glass is one solid piece. The "line" is actually the clear disc inside the sphere that keeps the planets in place. This is great for any astronomer or lover of space.

This is nicely made and feels great. The only concern is that the seam between two halves too much apparent. Since this sphere is made of two halves, and then the planets are embedded in each half, the two halves are then glued together. I would suggest the makers to find a glue that exactly matches the optical properties of the plastic. This way the seam between the two halves will not be seen, or at least much less noticeable.

For buyers, still a good thing to have. You can finf an angle where the seam will not be noticeable.
