3 Steps to Beautiful Touchably Smooth Skin (Read precautions before use): 1. Apply a thick, even layer of gel cream, ensuring the area you want to remove hair from is completely covered with it. Do not rub in. Wash hands thoroughly. 2. Leave the gel cream on the skin for 5 minutes, timed carefully, and then test a small area for hair removal. If hair comes away easily, remove the rest of the gel cream with a wet wash cloth. If you feel you have more stubborn or thick hair, we recommend leaving the cream on a little longer, up to, but not exceeding 10 minutes in total. 3. Remove the gel cream with a wet wash cloth then rinse your skin thoroughly with warm water without soap and dry. Do not rub.

I was so excited to receive this product only to find that the product was clearly tampered with. Packaging was dirty and discolored and extremely difficult to open (as if it was glued shut). Once I got it opened I followed the instruction. The first step is to open the base where the batteries are and remove the red tab...but there was no red tab, instead there was two green pieces of construction paper glued to two of the batteries. I removed the glued pieces of paper and to no surprise, the product wouldn’t turn on. The silver switch was loose and when I checked the batteries again, the batteries looked dusty and used as well. Put new batteries in and it still did not work. Very disappointed. This seller should be ashamed of themselves selling faulty items.

For best results (my experience):
Wash your feet, let them air dry, do not apply any lotions/oils, wipe with alcohol, let dry, use Amope to rid yourself of the dry skin easily in one sitting.
Using this product on damp feet defeats the purpose.

Amazingly worthless! I should have listened to the bad reviews, but there were so many good reviews that I took a chance. This item has absolutely no power even with fresh batteries. The item appeared used, covered in dust, and the cover that came with it doesn't even come close to fitting. Then I discovered that it is not eligible for return! Do not waste your time or money! I'm very disappointed and disgusted.

I'm always on the look out for a non-wet/in shower callous remover for my feet. I have a thing about gross feet. Maybe it comes from years of my dad making me rub his as a kid and the fact that I am still probably traumatized by having to touch his cracked, calloused alligator feet. I refuse to let my feet get gross. Part of my routine foot care involves pumicing, but I hate doing it in the shower because our shower doesn't have a seat and is too narrow to bend over to do it properly. I've owned battery powered ones like this before that don't last. This one seems to be more durable than most, but I wish it had a little more guts. It works ok, but when you apply more than just a little pressure, the barrel stops spinning. That's a little disappointing as it takes a LOT longer to get the results I could get if it just had a little more guts. Beyond that I have to say it works pretty well and I do continue to use it. I haven't yet found anything I like better so I'll stick with it for now. Battery life is pretty good too.

I was a skeptic. I saw the photos that people posted but I didn't believe it was possible to get those results, and certainly not from the first use. I was WRONG. I spent an hour and a half this evening working on my feet that I had neglected for far too long. Look at the results! (Pics taken before I applied lotion.) I cannot believe it. Wish I wouldn't have waited so long to buy this! I was just hoping to get the cracks reduced, but they are GONE and my heels are SOFT. Amazing!

This tool works well, but you have to let it do the work for you. I purchased additional rollers (extra coarse and regular) as I live in flip flops and had quite a bit of calloused skin to take down. Try not to press too hard - it won't speed up the process and in fact, you'll just stop the roller head from spinning. Like I said, let the tool do the work!

I purchased this product after a co worker recommended Amope. At first I was on the fence on purchasing this product due to the price. However, after endless scrubbing and moisturizing the bottom of my feet with tools that weren't helping, I decided to give Amope a try.

I have been using this product twice a week for the last 4 weeks I'd say. After the first use, Amope literally removed all of the weird dirt/crust that I had accumulated - which is something I really struggled to get rid of with other methods (see the first photo). Since then, I have been using Amope every week for atleast 10 minutes, usually before bed. I will then moisturize my feet.

Overall I think this product works great with consistent use and moisturizing. I will definetly be back to purchase replacements.

I took one star away because the cheap batteries it came with only lasted 10 minutes so I had to go buy batteries so I could do my other foot. Anyways, it works exactly as it claims to work. With only one use my feet looked baby soft and smooth again (and I had 2 pedicures recently that basically just make them look moisturized for a day or two but don't fix the problem). I'll use it maybe once or twice more to get perfect results, and then maybe once every couple weeks as needed. I highly recommend this product, and I'm never wasting money on a pedicure again !!

- removes dead skin from your feet for the most part

Cons:
-can barely handle any pessure against your skin. If you put too much pressure on the rotating head against your skin, it'll stop rotating. Needs a stringer motor.
-it doesn't completely get rid of dead skin. There are some ruminants AND the softness doesn't even last for more than one day.
-the file needs to be changed so often and it's expensive. I've only used mine about 8 times and i can already feel it getting dull.

I had to get a new one because the batteries leaked in my old one. -- These new ones are different (and better) from when they first came out: (1) The battery compartment is no longer a round screw-off from the end, but it is an oval pull-off. The handle is still round, though, and has the same ease and comfort when holding it as the original. (2) The batteries are no longer an x-shaped or plus-sign-shaped puzzle. There is now a hard plastic case attached inside the handle for the batteries, 2 and 2. The case has a clear indicator which way to put them in. (2) The lid is also no longer a puzzle to put back in place; it simply pushes back on. The whole thing is much easier. -- This new Amope has a speed choice: Fast and Faster. The Faster setting will surely heat up the skin faster too, so be careful. -- The roller is coarse texture, not regular texture. This enabled me to get the job done much quicker. But be careful with the coarse one! It works fast. -- Very pleased with this new model.

I was a bit skeptical about buying this since I’ve used other similar gadgets that didn’t work that well, and the callouses on my feet aren’t that bad. I was happy to get this on Amazon at almost half the cost as the price in stores. It worked well on my feet, even on the callouses I always get on the knuckles of my big toes that I normally have a hard time removing. It was amazing on my husband’s rough callouses, which are like sandpaper and catch on the bedsheets! Now they're super smooth after a couple uses. He jokes he needs to go down a size in shoes.
