Customers are satisfied with the performance of the electronic component amplifier. They mention that it works well, it takes up almost no room, and it works with a camera and a speaker. Some are surprised at the output and the clean sound it produces.
"...This little amp works well and takes up almost no room. Clear, clean amplification. Very happy with it." Read more

"...When set at normal amplification it plays very clean. It's much better than those horrible old LM386 amplifiers." Read more
"Very compact and worked well. I probably would select one with more gain...." Read more
Customers are satisfied with the quality of the electronic component amplifier. They mention that it's well built, has a beefy potentiometer, and is a perfect buy for tinkerers.
"...The little potentiometer is really beefy to the touch, there is a lot of control with that part and I can tell they didn't cheap out with it...." Read more
"Don't let the size of these things fool you. They are legit little amplifiers...." Read more
"...Highly recommended and very well built." Read more
"Good in all senses!" Read more
Customers are satisfied with the compactness of the electronic component amplifier. They mention that it works well and takes up almost no room. Some say that the amp is tiny but fun.

"Very compact and worked well. I probably would select one with more gain...." Read more
"...I'll definitely buy this again. They are smaller than an actual Triscuit! Think of the possibilities!" Read more
Customers are satisfied with the power output of the electronic component amplifier. They mention that it provides a reasonable power output for such a little board, and the IC cranks out a surprising amount of power into 2 8-ohm speakers. They also say that it draws very little current.
"...They have good power output and can drive 8Ω speakers loudly, but they have very poor power supply noise rejection...." Read more

"This provides a reasonable power output for such a little board. The connections are handy." Read more
Customers are mixed about the sound quality of the electronic component amplifier. Some mention that it has a powerful sound, can drive 8 speakers loudly, and has no audible hum or hiss. However, others say that it makes an annoying constant hiss, has very poor power supply noise rejection, and is loud.
"...This little amp works well and takes up almost no room. Clear, clean amplification. Very happy with it." Read more
"...A ferrite bead does not solve the hiss. A bypass capacitor does not solve the hiss. Don't buy this product...." Read more

Customers are mixed about the layout of the electronic component amplifier. Some mention that it really has the perfect layout and the power and mute header. They also appreciate the simple design, while others say that it's not perfect, has a terrible hiss, and is somewhat defective.
"...The overall quality of the amp is very good. Nice and loud, I'd easily buy it again...." Read more
"...This 12v amplifier is made of the cheapest components on the market. I see this same potentiometer on all sorts of products, and it is junk...." Read more
"This amp gets it, especially for the price. Very simple design, all powered by a tiny little IC that cranks out a surprising amount of power into 2..." Read more
"Good enough that I'd buy again, but not perfect...." Read more

This 12v amplifier is made of the cheapest components on the market. I see this same potentiometer on all sorts of products, and it is junk. The screw terminals can't be turned too tightly because they'll crumble like a blueberry muffin. That big 2200uF capacitor is useless, as there is a constant DC voltage ripple. The 3.5mm jack is also made of cheap plastic and will snap easily.
But the worst thing of all about this product is the bad design. The V-in is right next to the Audio Input and Audio Output, so there is a constant hiss. The hiss is persistent and terrible, and it definitely originates from the voltage input.
I have now purchased four of these things, and they all have the hiss. A ferrite bead does not solve the hiss. A bypass capacitor does not solve the hiss. Don't buy this product.
DROK, thank you for repeatedly emailing me and asking me to review your product.
The overall quality of the amp is very good. Nice and loud, I'd easily buy it again. However there is minor static, but only when plugged into a wall, in a battery it's fine. The little potentiometer is really beefy to the touch, there is a lot of control with that part and I can tell they didn't cheap out with it. (EDIT: they did cheap out with it, after about 4 months of use there is a lot of distortion when changing volume, but when the volume stays constant it still sounds just as good as when I bought it. The chip is covered by the tiny aluminum heat sync. I don't think it's enough to be honest. After running a 20Hz-20,000Hz I noticed the chip was very hot. The low and high pass are obviously limited, but not audibly mind you. If it sounds like I'm bashing the product, I'm not, I think it's really high in quality, and I am above pleased with the results of it.
Thanks DROK :)
Replacing the power supply with a 9V battery reduces the his to almost nil (you can still hear some if you put your ear right next to the speakers at max volume).
This was tried on two of the three boards that I received with the exact same behavior. The third is still sealed in the original packaging.
Additionally, the mute input works fine if you short the two pins together as a switch, but I haven't been able to get it to mute using a pull-up to 5V on the mute pin (as described in the PAM8610 datasheet -- see here: http://www.diodes.com/_files/datasheets/PAM8610.pdf), referenced to the DC input ground. Not sure why yet as I haven't experimented extensively -- that may be a mea culpa. I intend to experiment with this feature some more and will edit my review if I find a workaround.
I am a ham radio operator and the standard onboard speaker for radio just doesn't cut it and external speakers are bulky and kinda float around the car. My project was to install 2 small speakers into the open slots in the dash. These two come over to the amp that is powered by the fuse box for power when I turn on the key. This amp is small enough to hide under the dash as well.
Works great had to adjust the volume a little so I don't get white noise all the time but I have full volume control from my radio and volume is more than enough for my needs.

I was wanting something to enhance & boost the music from my mobile to external stereo speakers with tweeters and bass boost and this little gadget did just that and it improved the music quality. I really like this gadget. Also the separation (stereo effect) is very good. Keep up the good work.
The only thing I noticed is when the music stops there is noticeable hum on the speakers ..... I guess it needs some shielding or earthing to resolve this issue.
Lástima que no se pueden modular graves y agudos.
Prima prova di endurance 4 ore in continuo con 2 altoparlanti da 4 ohm no segni di cedimento: non male
