Amy Anderson is Professor of Greek and New Testament at North Central University in Minnesota. Her academic specialization is New Testament Textual Criticism, particularly palaeography and codicology of Greek minuscule manuscripts. She loves teaching and mentoring young scholars, and has continued to research in the area of her first book with the goal of someday producing a new edition of Family 1 of the Gospels. Her non-profit Center for Ancient Texts and Languages will serve to support both Dr A's mentoring skills and her research.
At the same time, Dr A is concerned that the current expression of the church in American culture is one-sided and ineffective in reaching the culture. Her second book, "When You Come Together," now available on amazon, iBooks, and lulu, is focused on challenging churches and groups to get past the "concert paradigm" and learn how to be in an interactive corporate relationship with God.
Though she lives in inner-city St Paul, Dr A is a rural person at heart. She grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin and loves camping, hiking, gardening, and all sorts of animals. She has a daughter and grandson whom she wishes to see more often.
