- Enter your model number to make sure this fits.
- Steady---Constant temperature control valve provides constant temperature and has little temperature swing due to steady pump pressures. The water pressure is 0.1mpa-0.5mpa.
- Convenient Shower Control--- Thermostatic mixing valve has 2 knobs turning smoothly. The left knob is for cold water while right one for hot water.
- Safe------If cold water were not in supply, the water yield would be automatically reduced to 0.5gallon/Min in very first 5 seconds, outflow volume<0.04gallon, outlet temperature< 120℉. Prevent any burns from accidentally turning the hot water up too much. No more blasts of freezing or scalding water. Especially for the kids.
- Easy Installation and Maintenance---Shower Diverter Valve is not traditionally mounting inside the walls. Future maintenance for the valve itself will be easy. No opening up tile or tearing out the back wall of the bathroom to access it if it needs replaced.
- Material--- Hot cold water Mixer is made of pure copper material with surface chrome plated

After a long installation process I tried it out this morning, and the shower was great, even with the wet-soap-rinse sequence us RVers go through. The water temperature never varied. Since the temperature is calibrated in degrees C, this unit probably isn't made for the USA. It comes with a couple of brass coupler fittings to adapt them for us. When the water volume control is wide open it delivers a lot, so I may install a restrictor in the hose to keep from using quite so much if my wife forgets to turn the volume down.
I found an excellent video for installing the unit, Google "Thermostatic Shower Valve Install in an RV". He does a pretty good job of showing how to mount it. Unfortunately. my installation didn't go as well as the video, I had a lot of trouble with my water fittings as they attach to the brass couplings on the valve, so allow yourself a few extra days for the install as you make trips pack and forth to the RV dealer or hardware store for parts. I also found that the chrome coupling covers were too deep, which leads to not having enough threads available for the supply fittings. I wound up sanding about 1/8" off. I also had to shorten up the house supply fittings so they wouldn't bottom out on the mounting plate.
So, my installation was more difficult than I had planned, but what else is new?
One minor dislike is the shower hose connects to the top rather that the underside of the valve. I'm going to keep my eye out for some sort of elbows that I may use to point the hose in the opposite direction.
All that aside, I'm very pleased with the unit. I think it's very well made and a real bargain for the price. I will definitely have one of these in any RVs I own.
This diverter valve is perfect for a shower off the back. It needs to be mounted inside, of course, but it's perfect. I just screw on the Rubba Dub Handheld Shower Head hose and I'm good to go. It turns off and on very easily and allows me to take a shower with less than 4 gallons of water! I love that you set the temp. once and it stays just right. I can turn the water on and off as needed to save water.
The styling of this is great too - it just looks cool. The only thing I don't like about it is the weird company name etched on the front. But don't let the cheezy name deter you from this great product. It really is well made and works perfectly.
Once installed this valve works as it should, no leaks, and does what it says it does. Both knobs are stiff enough to prevent accidental changes but still smooth enough for it to be easily operated. Knocked off one star because water was in the valve. Really its a five star product, and that might be more reflective of the distributors QA process than the actual items rating.
Future maintenance for the valve itself will be easy. No opening up tile or tearing out the back wall of the bathroom to access it if it needs replaced.
Easy to use.
Safety. Max temperature has to be manually over ridden with a red button. This should prevent any burns from accidentally turning the hot water up too much. However this doesn't account for your cold water temperature. In Arizona or climates where it gets very hot the water may still be scalding.
Style, you're either gonna like it or not. I don't mind it.
Mine came with water inside of it. No biggie it still worked and the finish wasn't marred.
Orientation is pretty much decided by the fact that the numbers are printed to face only a certain way. Wish I could change the numbers out to Farenheit.
