This is an excellent book that talks about the works of Ayn Rand through the eyes and mind of Nathaniel Branden. Although Branden and Rand agreed to go their separate ways, at one point Nathaniel was considered the future intellectual heir to Ayn Rand's estate. This book is written long before their break-up and should be considered an un-biased and Ayn Rand approved book about her works. The bio about Ayn at the beginning is priceless for Rand admirers.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2016Format: HardcoverVerified PurchaseAlthough this is a very old book written to promote Ayn Rand, parts of the book are still good. Nathaniel Branden's essay on the morality of Atlas Shrugged is still relevant, and Barbara Branden's biography is still interesting. The section on Objectivist psychology is obsolete.
