I sent this product back. I understand you "get what you pay for", but I at least hoped I would get a human skull...this product was just terrible as a learning aid. Even as a prop, it wouldn't have been very effective.
-Superior and inferior orbital fissures
-Nasal nares and choanae
-A pinprick hole in the indentation meant to represent my left foramen spinosum

I'm with everyone else: it's a bargain for its price. I'm both very satisfied with the value of the $30 I parted with, and aware that upgrading to one of the $90 models would have given me a better idea of where each foramen opens. If you're only looking to verify where everything lies -- and I'd like to reinforce that especially with the mandible off, it's fairly easy -- buy this skull. If you really feel that you need to directly follow the course of all the cranial nerves and arteries to learn them properly, though, you'd be better served to spend the extra money.
