My A&P 1 course is using Visual Anatomy & Physiology by Martini and it is just not doing it for me. This is a great companion that I can look at if I have problems with my textbook (I'm tempted to just use this). I would have given it 5 stars, BUT I am extremely, EXTREMELY disappointed it is not available for my Kindle Touch. I'm not sure why it's not available on the Touch, but please if there is anyway you (you know who you are) can make this available on the Touch I will be forever grateful and possibly name my first born child after you (probably not unless you have a super awesome name, but you get the point). Thank you for developing this awesome book and uber thank you for making it free for the masses. Keep doing what you're doing, Boundless.

Amazon and Kindle makes buying expensive textbooks easy -- and less expensive! The cost of college books for my kids was way out of hand... so we invested in a HD Kindle (Amazon weekend deal) and it was the best decision ever! Now my daughter can download her text books easily, highlight text, create folders for assignments and pre-test studying and more. PLUS she doesn't have to carry a ton of heavy books! Using the Kindle she can buy her necessary books in minutes and begin to learn immediately! If you have a college student check their school requirements first to see if they allow electronic books! (They all should!)

what a great reference text. This book gives detailed information on every part of the human body. I have used it to refer to several times and then found myself reading about other parts of the body too. This is a very good refernce book to have in your library .It provides infromation in a manner that is easy to understand in laymans terms.

I`ve been using this ebook (on Kindle Fire) as a supplement to my human bio and pharmacology classes. It`s an especially great reference for pharmacology because it delves into the specific underlying mechanisms responsible for the body`s biological processes.

For example I used it heavily when I was learning about medications to treat endocrine disorders and heart conditions. So I would definitely recommend this book on it`s own as a great way to learn anatomy & physio or as a supplement to another class, to delve deeper into a subject and truly understand the body`s processes, systems, etc.

This was a free book and I was in a mood for an update on the human body. I was surprised by the wealth of information contained within this refernce book, and knew my wife would love it due to the "everyday reader" yet concise and comprehensive language used.

This book reminds us of all mechanisms within the biological process, and it's helpful for aging people who want to do some research before taking prescriptions from various doctors. Educate yourself and don't leave your well-being to the medical profession alone.

An impressive reference book that I recommend!

Exceptional. Of the13 Boundless I have read by far the best. Very descriptive and complete with exceptional details. It has up to date material and is informative. After reading this you appreciate the human and its complicated systems. The only complaint is many of the illustrations when enlarged you can not read the labels. Also some also the written part (of illustrations) has reference numbers or letters but they are not on the pictures.

If you missed or slept during school, this is beneficial. It's also great for those who can't seem to get a doctor's understanding of the human body and specifically, their own health issues. It's irrelevant to me, but could be beneficial to others

I've bought a bunch of anatomy and physiology books in the last three months. This book ranks as number one or two; I cannot recall another book as easy to use with clear information.

It's actually located online. The ebook opens up to the Bounless web site and respective pages as found in the ebook. It's a good idea to go this way.
I like it.
