Top Customer Reviews
Relihan seems to be under the sway of Robert Bracht Branham, whose own work on Lucian seems to have a lot to do with Relihan's own direction. However, there does not seem to be a thinking of the liberating possibilities of laughter and the grotesque
which is commensurate with its subject matter. Nevertheless, an indispensable work, particularly for its work on Ennodius (?) and Martianus Capella.
