Get down to the roots for full, voluminous hair
This is a versatile and useful straightener with features that make styling your hair quick and easy. Its compact design gets down close to the scalp and those hard to reach areas. With this flat iron, you can style right up to the rootscreating full styles that other flat irons cannot.
Tourmaline Nano-Ceramic technology: Styling from the inside out
Tourmaline and Nano-Ceramic technologies generate infrared heat, styling hair from the inside out. This leaves your hair soft and beautiful. These features also help create the styles you love. Crushed from gemstones, tourmaline crystals emit negative ions that quickly seal the cuticle layer of each strand of hair, eliminating frizz for smoother and silkier hair.
Features that make using this flat iron quick and convenient
The 67410 has ceramic plates that keep your hair's moisture preserved, giving your hair luster and shine that's unmatched. The nano- ceramic used for the plates create soft and full hairstyles. The plates heat up to 450 degrees and quickly. It only takes 30 seconds for the 67410 to heat up to styling temperature.

First, it claimed to heat up in 30 seconds and then the light would stop blinking to indicate that it was hot. The light on mine never stopped blinking, not even after about 20 minutes.
Second, I don't think mine was ever able to fully heat up (maybe why the light never turned off?) because it just didn't work on my hair. I was able to touch my fingers briefly to the plates without burning myself, even though it was turned all the way up, so I think it just wasn't hot enough to work... which is kind of the point of a flat iron and sort of negates all of the good features... so I returned it. It's possible mine was just defective... or maybe it's just not a good product. I have fine hair - it shouldn't have been that hard to straighten and/or curl it.
On a positive note, I had no problems returning it or getting my money back quickly, which can sometimes be an issue with Amazon. Still, I'd go with another. I think this flat iron is a case of you-get-what-you-pay-for.
Since then, my boyfriend bought me the HSI Ceramic Tourmaline Ionic Flat Iron for Christmas because it had the best reviews. It's $50, but I've been really pleased with it. I suggest that one over the Andis.
The only down side is that because the blades are curved, the edges can burn the surface that you set it down on. Unfortunately I was doing my daughters hair at the kitchen table the first time I used this and there are now two burn marks on my table. Now I just place a hot pad under it and there is no issue.
UPDATE: I ended up contacting Andis directly (seller return time period had expired) and they sent me a new unit at no charge. It works great! I love the curved edges and it gets nice and hot. I also appreciate a manufacturer with good customer service.
It gets plenty hot but it doesn't clamp down tight enough on my hair to have much effect at all. My hair is not thin at all. I have lots of hair but it is baby fine. Now it's sitting in the bathroom closet collecting dust. Maybe I'll give it to my niece.

This tool is the best two-in-one. The flat iron allows you to straighten and the curved edges let you put loose, natural curls in your hair. It takes practice but works great. Read morePublished 26 days ago by pardon me
its an ok product. Since my hair is very thin yet unruly- it does not exactly work like I pictured. Not as easy to handle either. Read morePublished 1 month ago by loelba2012
This does a great job. I wish it came with some kind of pad to set it on. I put it on my washing machine and it melted a big V in the top. DenisePublished 2 months ago by Merrell D Leavitt
