So I decided to order a pair of these clippers since I'm training to become a professional groomer for Pet Supplies Plus. I saw the reviews and yet I still decided to buy them in the hopes that none of it was true. But lo and behold, just as the top rated critical review said, my clippers came with poorly etched serial numbering, sunken buttons, a scuffed up #10 blade, and a lack of product manufacture date on the power supply. I am so PISSED. Do NOT waste your time purchasing this product. I'm not the type to leave a negative review but PLEASE don't let yourself get scammed.

VERY disappointed. I am a groomer and I was so excited opening my new pair of pink clippers, yet I can tell it's been used!!!!! I ordered a new pair, not a used pair. I noticed it right away, the small wear on the clippers. Thanks. Returning tomorrow.

I am a professional groomer and from everything from tiny yorkies to giant Newfoundlands. These clippers do a great job at getting through the thickest coats and I really like that the body is shorter than the AGC 2 Super model. It makes doing the undersides of tiny dogs a bit easier. They are also lighter weight than the AGC 2.
Advantages:
-Lighter weight
-More compact
-Powers through thick coats easily
Disadvantages:
-Buttons are in an awkward location
-Motor starts getting hot after 3 consecutive large dogs
- After about three dogs the blades start getting hot very quickly
- Failed to turn on immediately when I first received it
- Giant style plug
- standard and hassle free packaging are exactly the same, DO NOT PAY MORE FOR ONE OR THE OTHER
-Hassle free packaging arrived with a box with more packaging, but arrived broken and not in working order
- Standard packaging was mailed in a BUBBLE ENVELOPE! Not appropriate for this product! May be why it didn't turn in immediately after I first got it. I really hope I don't regret not sending it back.

So far, I'm very happy with this purchase. I would've liked it to include a hard carry case and some of the attachments, but it didn't. I the bought attachments separately and put everything in a small cardboard box.
I bought two other brands of clippers that just couldn't cut through my Goldendoodle's hair, before I bought this one. I'm not a professional, just a doggy mama looking to cut my babies' hair.
Their hair is so thick and curly! I had a hard time finding any clippers that would actually cut through it! This one cuts so wonderfully, and easily.
The blades do get HOT, so I did like the other reviewers said and bought a second one and switch them out, *Both blades are the CeramicEdge blade. And I love the quick detachable design for the blades, very nice.
I don't know if I'd call these clippers quite, it makes a normal buzzing noise, as I think most clippers do.
I was leary about spending this much money for a pair of clippers after reading some of the other reviews, but I'm glad I did. I figured if they worked right, spending this amount of money once would be a better investment of my money then to keep buying the cheaper ones over and over again. Worth it and recommend!

I am a professional dog groomer with 20 plus years experience. I groom a minimum of eight dogs a day. These clippers are wonderful for hand and arm fatigue. There are minor issues with blades getting hotter than on my older clippers but i frequently change blades out so no worries. I am OCD about clipper maintenance. I change blade drive as needed. My other Andis clipper is 15 years old and still running great. I just wanted something smaller and lighter. These are perfect and worth every penny.

Buttons on side of clipper sink into the device when pressed. This includes the on off switch and the speed arrows. Literally did not get through grooming one dog and this happened . Had requested a replacement but that will take almost a month, so no thanks. I'll spend my money on something that works. Usually andis is a good brand. Disappointed.

Great clipper but the blade is not..

It is a great clipper. I did a lot of research before I bought it (this is my first clipper) and this was the best option to groom my dog at home. It is very quiet and it doesn't bother my dog at all. The only complain I have which is really not about the clipper but it is about the 10 blade that comes with it. I am very meticulous when it comes to my belongings. I like to take good care of everything a have so it last longer and serves me well. Having said that, I wash the blade every time I use it. I clean, spray, lubricate and wipe the blade and clipper before I put everything away back in the original box. Well, this last time I used it, I opened the box and found the blade with lots of oxidized marks. Like freckles. I know I didn't leave it wet, so I was quite disappointed to find the blade in this condition. I don't know what else I could've done different to avoid this since I have been very careful from the beginning taking all the necessary steps so this wouldn't happen and it still did. This tells me the blade that comes with it is not of very good quality which is quite disappointing considering the price of the item. As far as the actual clipper, I like it very much. It is serving well. However, if I were to do it again, now that I worked with this clipper, I would definitely had purchased an Andis cordless one and made sure the blades were stainless steel or better quality. Live and Learn. I hope this review helps others to make a more educated decision.

I purchased a 9 piece set of Andis comb attachments. Considering a full grooming is about $135 in my area (tax and tip in), this set will be paid for in no time.
