The Empire is menacing once again. In fact I think this show's portrayal of the Empire is better than just about everything else. You can feel the oppression. You can feel just how terrible life would be under this regime. It's also very believable and sensibly presented. There are no magic space wizards here. And it makes it more grounded and real.
