The eyes glow blue when you plug it in to a live outlet, which has been a handy feature for finding dead outlets in hotel rooms!
The arms move, and several children (and adults!) have smiled when I make the little guy "wave" at them. Showing this to my female friends always results in "Awww!" and "Oooh, cuuuute!" and "That's just adorable" and similarly mushy sentiments.
I'm trying to think of anything negative, and about the best I can come up with is that sometimes I forget where I put the feet when he's plugged in. I've managed to teach myself to either leave the feet right next to the outlet or put the feet back in my purse.
Update: took off another star because it will no longer charge my tablet at all. Since my tablet charges just fine on our other chargers, it has to be this adorable little droid causing the trouble. Bummer!
I came across a few cheap ones, but honestly, the reviews weren't too great, and I really wanted a charger that I could depend on for as long as I would need it. I thought to myself, "maybe I should go for something with a fun color," so I typed in "pink Android charger" and this was one of the first ones that came up.
Initially, I was thrown off by the price, I was not looking to spend over ten dollars, and this was obviously above that price range. All of the other options seemed unappealing, so I found myself coming back to this one. Since I had initially found this one to be super adorable and it had great ratings, I figured I should just go for it, I mean it even had Prime two-day shipping on it.
As soon as it came in, I was ecstatic. It looked just as cute as it did in the picture! In came in a nice adorable package and it was everything I thought it would be. I immediately put it to use and was pleasantly surprised! Its eyes lit up green to indicate that it was charging my phone, and then dimmed down to white light to indicate that it was finished charging my phone. It even charged it super quickly! When I was done, I stood it up on the little stand it comes with which is great because it encourages me to not let my plugs be little electricity vampires as they say.
Overall, don't let the price scare you! You will definitely not regret this purchase! It's absolutely cute and super functional. Honestly the best charger I have ever had. I've had it for about 3 months and I can say it is definitely durable. I love it!
I'm a huge android fan and I want the iPhones to tremble in fear of the almighty Andru! He sits on my office desk on top of an iPhone with a shattered screen to serve as a warning to all iPhones which may dare to come near.
It is a good charger, much better than the Galaxy S3 charger I originally bought this for. This is my second one because I liked my first one so much. I have a Galaxy Note 4 now, so it's not going to Fast Charge, but it does a good job and it's still a cool little thing to have around. It seems pretty tough, my first one still works and has lasted for about two years. It has been kicked around in a backpack to and from work and where ever else I go. I've been waiting for the little antennas to come of, but so far so good. Unfortunately I lost the base for my first one a while ago. But it stays plugged in most of the time so it's not a big deal.
