These worked so well I ordered a second set for the rest of the patio door. The ring is smooth and well fitted together, no gaps or burs that would scratch my drapery rod. The clips themselves bite deeply enough to the top edge of the drape that I had to fold over to keep them off the floor.
I am careful with this clip design when I open and draw the drapes. I don't pull my drapes down when moving them. I lift and take the tension off the clips and rod to avoid the drape slipping out or bending the rod.
