A magnificent book that details the horrors of World War II and the years that followed. The story consists of so many memorable characters. It also depicts of how several of these immigrants came to the states and were able to achieve the American dream. A well written tale that kept the reader engaged. The ending was fabulous. A book I would truly recommend reading.
I really enjoyed the book a lot and I was surprised at hte end of the book, I just couldn't guess the end (that is always sign of a good book). It was a great reading experience and still I am thinking of the characters every now and then even though I read this books months ago. I will reread it soon.
