D. Donovan, Midwest Book Review... Readers who want the steamy sexual descriptions of a romance paired with a powerful historical novel that embraces the social and political complexities of another world will find The Angel of Soriano offers the perfect blend of romance and action.
"A book that takes you back in time and is so descriptive you can see everything like you are there yourself. It is packed with suspense, action, and love."
"A lovely and descriptive Renaissance romance. I know this is repeating but this is a timeless romance with suspense and smile worthy moments."
"A historical fiction which takes part in Rome, the Eternal City, in 1489, in the Renaissance and an opponent most dangerous who is pursuing them...Based on a true story, this gem has all: sword fights, passion, despair and sorrow. You can really imagine all scenes and pictures appear in your mind of how a movie could bring the story to life."
From the Author
This book was compelled out of me after visiting Soriano, Italy. The scenes were etched in my mind, more like a movie than a novel. The story is loosely based on an old woman that saved the city in the fifteenth century. Of course, in my mind, it was a young woman in disguise. Thus the story of how Aurelia saved the city unfolded while I wandered this ancient stone fortress built atop of an old volcano. I hope you get a chance to visit someday, too.
