Angel Vine is getting increasingly hard to find in nurseries, though one of my local plant purveyors will special-order some for me for a small fortune, so these were a good value. This vine has a delicate look, but is very hardy. It's happy indoors or out in moderately bright, indirect light. They love regular misting in the early morning or late evening, but it's not necessary. I have other Angel Vine plants that have been going strong for more than six years, with minimal care. They like to be moderately moist and will benefit from an all-purpose plant food during the spring and summer. One of my vines had an unhappy episode of sunscorch during a heat wave, though it has recovered nicely. Even if Angel Vine is neglected and the vines and leaves become dry and brittle, I just trim off the dead bits and they always come back beautifully in the spring. I first kept the plants indoors, but eventually they did better outside. During rare frosts, I just cover them and they've come to no harm. These plants can be trained to grow on a frame, or grown in a regular pot and trimmed to any shape or just left to create a beautiful, lacy tangle, as well as put in a hanging pot for the vines to trail. All in all, Angel Vine is a lovely, tolerant and versatile plant, and the two I ordered are healthy and full.
The plant was larger than on the picture with "Size you receive 4" pot" text on it.
The leaves and the thin branches are cute and adorable.
One start off because mine came with a lot of insect eggs on the back of leaves and with some bugs. I've used an organic insecticide for vegetable (soap spray), and it looks like eggs are dried and the bugs are gone now.

Lovely little plant, I know this as a "Wire Vine" and they are pretty common in the nurseries up here in WA State.Published 23 days ago by Snow*Bear
