"That makes it even more perfect."
What a great joint-effort by these two amazing authors! Good versus evil. Angels versus the devil. Light versus the dark. And all through it, there's a battle for love.
Major Lewis Carpenter has returned home on furlough, except he's not the same man he used to be. His demons are warring for his mind. But, one thing hasn't changed - his love for her. Emma. The girl next door who has been front and center in his fantasies for years. When he finds her preparing for battle, and with a story no one in their right mind would ever believe, he finds himself taking up arms to protect her against anything or anyone who tries to harm her. But, is his brawn and training enough to save her? Enough to save them both?
Emma Manuelle, or Emmanuelle as she's known in her celestial circle, is the Chosen One. The Devil has chosen her to be his bride and bear his spawn. No way is she going without a fight. Now she has an ally in Lewis. Can they stop fate together or will this battle destroy every chance she has at happiness?
I really enjoyed this story! Angels, devils, firetrucks and water guns - and let's not forget the love part! Great read!
The authors did a fabulous job with the storyline and the characters.
In Angelfire, Emma and Lewis fight for what they believe in. Along the way these two find a beautiful love that is worth risking everything for Emma but maybe the council won’t see it that way. Maybe, just maybe, they have something completely different in mind for Emma and Lewis.
