"This is not a book I would have picked up on my own, but from the time I received it in the mail until the time it was finished I could not put it down. It seemed as though almost every horrible thing that could happen during the school year did, and that made it even more heart wrenching while reading through the eyes of the narrators." - Goodreads Review from Ellen in Masachusetts
"Bullying among high school girls is believably rendered in this young adult novel. It's interesting because the characters are multidimensional; the bullies are bullied and the bullied are bulliers." - Goodreads Review from Alexandra in Virginia

As a rule, I don't find most books books written from two view-points to have a well-executed story line. The book's first chapter is from Alicia's view point. By the time that I began reading the chapters about Nia, my sympathies had already been aligned with Alicia. I felt torn back and forth between the book. I don't think either one of the girls is an angel; while both are definitely bullies, because I knew what good intentions Alicia had, I was still tempted to side with her, despite the fact that throughout the story, it appears that Nia had more just cause than Alicia for some of her hateful actions. It will be interesting to read book 2 when it becomes available. Will the girls have really learned their lesson? What will be the focus of the second book? Will the author confront another common high-school problem--like teen pregnancy, drugs, cheating--or instead focus on other things?
