We met Quinn and Raider previously. Raider was one of the famous Hannigan clan within the MC. He was also the biggest man whore of the group.
Quinn had been raised around the MC. Her best friend was Colt, Raider’s brother, and through him she had been part of the MC family for years. It was well known that Quinn had crushed on Raider since she was a child, but he never acted upon it.
Browning took us back a bit, then caught us up to the present. I didn’t think I would like Raider so I was dreading the book. It wasn’t so much his man whore ways that I didn’t like, but that he shoved it in Quinn’s face for years. I didn’t really see how he could come back from that. And he didn’t, at least not at first. Simultaneously while we were getting the drama from Raider and Quinn, Browning was continuing the MC storyline that had carried over in several books. And true to form, it advanced some, but will carry over into the next books as well.
All in all, it was a quick read. Browning kept it intriguing, but I was craving just a little more. But then again, she set the stage for the next two books, so it was a complex storyline trying to get all the pieces together. And it was emotional. Matt is up next in Fallen Angel and I can’t wait!

I would say, however, that I wished there had been more scenes between Raider and Quinn, I didn't really connect to them as a couple. That being said, I can't wait to see how some of the revealed secrets and lies will unfold in future books. 3.5 stars
