About the Author
David Gottlieb, Ph.D. received his B.A. in psychology from Harvard University in 1975, and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Northwestern University in 1982. He has worked with families and consulted with schools in the Chicago area since 1985. In 2011, Dr. Gottlieb wrote "Your Child is Defiant: Why is Nothing Working?" and in 2006, he co-wrote "Why is My Child's ADHD Not Better Yet?" He is married and shared in raising three children.

Positives: There was a lot of good information, it helped me understand our situation better, and the price for what you get is good.
Unfortunately, the advice to ignore some behaviors was both not something I approve of, and has never worked for us (since his behaviors are primarily done for attention, he gets worse when we ignore them.) Since that and behavior prevention are the main focuses, and it's very hard to prevent the multitudes of triggers he has, we did not see any benefits from using this workbook. Really disappointed, because I was so hopeful at first!
