I have used animal movements for a while now, and this book added several movements. Very worthwhile purchase and highly recommended.

I bought this book because I believe in the art of using your own body as a gym. I feel tired yet energized once I have completed my workout.

This is really great stuff. I was looking for something different to spice up my regular workouts and this most definitely does the trick. You get lots of different animal-based exercises that are challenging, and best of all they're really fun to do. Inside there are good descriptions of each exercise and pictures to go along with them. You also get some workout program tips which is helpful.
As with anything try it and see how it feels for you. I saw a comment questioning the authors credentials and qualifications. I don't know the author or anything about him. All I can say is research this for yourself. Test the movements. Many of them are variations of jumping and crawling. The movements feel natural to me. And as with everything use caution and try them for yourself. And of course don't do the ones you have strong doubts about or don't feel comfortable doing. With my back as it is I'm personally staying away from the donkey kick! ☺
Like I said, these movements feel natural to me. And the exercises I've done very much reminds me of how children play and move around; freely and playfully. Crawling like a leopard, jumping like a rabbit, etc. Totally fun and natural.
A very good workout.
Having said that the book is well laid out with multiple pictures clearly illustrating the exercises. I found the exercises to be challenging and fun at the same time. If you're looking for a way to add some variety to your exercise routine Animal Workouts might be the ticket for you.
