Anita Kovacevic is multigenre author of both children's and adult fiction. Her belief in the power of storytelling has been strengthened through her years of teaching and teacher training. As a member of an international teaching community, she has also participated in a worldwide charity anti-bullying e-book Inner Giant, which, among others, features some of her first short stories, essays, illustrations and poems. Since then, she has been invited to participate in several anthologies, alongside a number of renowned international authors.
You can read her reviews, book news and author interviews on her Wordpress blog Anita's Haven. A recent nickname, 'The Invisible Cheerleader', refers to her support for independent authors and promoting books and reading in general, not so much her athletic abilities.
Anita enjoys writing stories which come to her on her 'dreamstep', blending reality and magic, and has a quirky fondness for writing limerick stories. She lives with her husband and children in Croatia, where she graduated from university with a degree in English and Spanish Literature.
