Straightforward connection: no lag, no need to install anything, I tried with all 4 USB ports (webcam-keypad-mouse-headphone) – and all were functioning smoothly.
Very sleek and has enough cord length.

These are 3.0 version so the speed is not an issue. Happy with the product.

I bought this for my home desktop as I had too many different peripherals to plug in and not enough USB ports. When plugging in, everything initially worked very well, especially with the webcam and keyboard. It also includes a 2ft. extension cable which really came in handy. After using for a few days though, I noticed that on my headset the audio became staticky and unclear. After unplugging and re-plugging, it fixed itself but it still continues to be a mild inconvenience having to constantly do this since the issue has come up again a couple times since. I may have to upgrade to a higher quality USB hub soon if this persists or worsens.

Edit: I just recently joined a meeting online and the audio quality has appeared to fix as it sounds much clearer now. The customer support was very helpful and responsive.

So, I built my lad's PC and still we manage to run out of USB ports - how did I manage that??

I needed a USB hub to transform a single USB 3 port into 4 ports and Anker is the brand I turn to for anything like this.

The first thing that strikes you about this is just how small it is.
Gone are the days of the big clunky ports requiring a power supply and a sizeable portion of desk space!
It is slim, lightweight and just plugs into a USB port.

Tip. If possible, plug into a USB 3 port (that is usually the one that is blue inside) as you will get the fastest speeds that way.
USB 3 will handle multiple connections at the same time with no issues at all.

Practical warning.
This is a hub that does not have its own separate power supply, so please don't expect it to charge anything like your phone. It is to be used for USB sticks and devices like keyboards, mice, webcams etc.

If you use it for that, it works beautifully and is small enough to place it wherever you find convenient.

One gripe, and it is just a minor one.
The cable to connect to the PC (USB port) is quite short at around 2ft (or 60cm) and is integrated to the hub.

Of course, if you need longer, just use a USB extension cable (yes, you can get them).

Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, it will also work with your Apple devices (if they have a USB port).

I have my gaming keyboard and my msi gh50 headphones plug into this as it totals 600Ma and the limit on this device is 900ma so unfurtunatly I cannot plug anything els into this otherwise it will max out and disconnected does explain in instructions

do make sure how much power draw your equipment uses

for example your limit is 900ma

As many others found themselves Working From Home thanks to COVID-19 I discovered that an inconvenient corollary of modern laptops is that they don't have enough USB ports for all the new peripherals I need to connect up to it to replicate an office set up. Cue the need for this USB hub. Now my requirement was simply for some more USB 3.0 ports, I use an XPS 15.
The dongle itself is very light, the cable has the traditional thick rubbery feel of Anker's basic products and is sufficiently long to snake around a laptop for example. It's flat angular design means some edges are sharper than you'd expect but considering this'll be lying at the bottom of a stack of cables, it isn't too much of a drain.
One important thing to consider is this has power implications that are included in the box. Connect a USB charger for your phone and you'll see that the phone chargers extremely slowly. So for my use I've limited it to connected USB peripherals like keyboard, mice and the wireless receivers for those devices

Pourtant j'ai dû retourner le Hub car il ne fonctionnait pas correctement.
En effet, j'ai essayé de brancher un disque dur externe, un clé USB ou même une webcam mais ils n'ont pas été reconnu ! Seul ma manette filaire Xbox a été détecté...
J'ai testés tous les ports USB un par un, mais c'était le même problème à chaque fois.
Après coup, en lisant les commentaires, j'ai remarqué que je n'étais pas le seul à avoir ce problème... Alors je n'ai pas recommandé ce hub et je me suis tourné vers une autre marque.
C'est dommage car ce hub était léger et compact...
