I got this for a safari trip I took. Re-charging via solar can take all day but that's expected.

20,000 mAH gives me about 2.8 charges on my Google Pixel 6 Pro, according to some info I found online. In my experience, that seems about accurate.

Note: This does NOT come with a power adapter. You will need to buy a USB-C power adapter to charge this power bank via wall outlet. Anker nano 20W charger for $16 is a good option.

So, I’ve had this product for a few months now. At first it was a great product and I began to test it out on various electronics such as my phone and iPad. I normally keep this anchor charged up completely and put it to the side. I wanted to test it out a few times and I noticed it drains incredibly fast. Not sure if I can depend on this device on travels if it continues to drain that fast, I hate to say it, but I would recommend seeking a different product before purchasing. Anker is a fantastic company with high quality products. But unfortunately, I dislike this product. But their other stuff is fantastic.

I've tested and reviewed a number of these solar augmented battery packs here and it pains me to say it because it is an Anker device, but this one is no different to all the others I have tested. It claims to be a 20,000 mAh capacity and so I expected it (taking account of all the usual losses) to be able to supply at least 15,000 mAh under a discharge test but the best it could manage was less than 12,000. Whilst recharging from flat, it showed a similar capacity so I'm afraid this one also went back for a refund. Very disappointing because it was well built and rugged (as advertised).

In bright sunlight it took several days to fully charge. When I complained to Anker support even they admitted it can take up to a week to charge in direct sunlight and up to two weeks on cloudy days. Not practical for my purpose and I returned the item to Amazon.

I couldn't get the unit to charge off the usb at first but was then helped by Anker who informed me you have to use one of their wall adapters in order for it to work. Excellent customer service on the part of Anker. 👍 Torch is brilliant and comes on on the lower setting first, which is good as this conserves the battery inside more, but with the next setting being full blast and then s.o.s. mode, I have no doubt that these would also come in handy if needed. Overall, the unit is very solidly built and you can feel the quality when you first pick it up. Even the plug covering the sockets stays in SO well. There hasn't been enough sun as yet to allow the solar panel to work, but it even tells you when it's getting too hot as well! I understand the solar panel is more used to maintain the charge while it charges another device as it would be very slow to recharge the unit if relied on, on it's own.

I bought this product on 24/6 I went on holiday on 19/7 and the product that seemed to work now 23/07 does not charge, and bubbles popped on the part of the solar panel, but above all does not charge by connecting it to the socket. I am very disappointed.
I tried to make the refund but it is not possible now because it stopped working after the period acce refound

Seems like a solidly built item, which does make it slightly bigger and heavier than you might expect. Good capacity. Torch is a nice addition, its not stunningly bright, but pretty good. Solar is a bit of an after thought, a panel this size is never going to achieve much, it keeps the charge topped up but don't expect it to add much extra life if you are charging things on a regular basis.
