Excellent case! I bought the frosted white color. The material is moderately 'gripppy'. The sides of the case are slightly thicker and cushy, so hopefully it will be protected if I drop it. The edges are slightly raised up around the screen and around the camera lens. When placing your phone down on a table in either direction (face up or face down), the screen or camera lens do not touch the table at all! This case has more of a matte finish, so it hides fingerprints and smudges quite well since it is not glossy. I would buy it again, especially at the decent price of around ten bucks.

One of the best iPhone X cases!

Anker has never disappointed me, and this product is no different. When I first got it, before receiving the phone, I loved it. But when I put the case on the phone, the case just amazed me.

It has an incredible soft touch to it, not like an Apple Silicon case, this is a unique soft. There are glossy grips on the side that help from if you worry about the case being slippery. But in no way is the case slippery.

The case fits perfect in my Space Gray iPhone X! The buttons feel great and are not hard to push at all. The case is slim and adds no weight to the phone. Also, you can still see the Apple logo in the darker version of the case, if that’s what you still wanted to see, this case definitely shows it.

So, if you are looking for a case to buy, this is one of the best out there. Don’t hesitate, you will love it.

I like the light weight feel of this case

I purchased this case prior to the iPhone X being release, so Anker did not have many options. I like the light weight feel of this case, and the holes are cut very well around the speakers and charging port on the bottom of the phone. However the hole for the camera was just slightly too big, so I was constantly taking my phone out of the case to clean off the back of the phone. Because the case is rubbery, there is not much structure so the sides and easily be peeled back and a good deal of dirt got into the case this way. I also didn't care for the not frosted grip strips along the side of the case, they felt out of place with the rest of the case being frosted.

This is one of the better iPhone cases I have owned.

The case wraps around to the front glass to create a bunker in case the phone is dropped face down. It seems to have good protection on both the corners and the back of the phone as well.

The best part of this case is the fit. It fits the phone perfectly. I have had other cases that restrict access to the charging port, or render the side buttons useless. This case does none of that. It also installs on the phone in 2 seconds flat.

Great product, and I love the opaque/frosty look. It is still translucent enough that you can see the apple logo on the back.

If you are planning on buying the X, have one of these ready to go. Nobody tells you how slippery the iPhone X is. Without a case, it’s like holding a melting ice cube.

The KARAPAX Touch Case is a solid choice for people who appreciate the design of iPhone X and want to protect it while not covering it up. I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality of the case, especially at just $12. This case is a solid investment for protection against dings and scratches.

DESIGN

A minimalistic case designed to prevent everyday wear and tear along with decent protection from light drops. The KARAPAX Touch Case will probably not keep glass from shattering if your phone is dropped from high up, or onto very hard surfaces like concrete, but that is not what it is designed for.

I went with the white color to match my white iPhone X, and love the frosted look on the back that does not hide the Apple logo. The design blends seamlessly with my iPhone, almost feeling like nothing is there while also increasing grip and protecting the edges, front screen (with a lip that prevents it from touching surfaces when face down), and back glass. It adds minimal bulk while fitting snuggly, with no wiggling or room for the phone to move around inside it. It makes the phone feel even more solid, with no noticeable increase in weight.

All of the important stuff is protected, with the side buttons fully encased by the protective case while remaining easy to use. The bottom lightning port is easily accessible with a wide opening that should support all cables and most docks. The opening extends just past the screws around the port, very precisely. The bottom speaker and second grille are visible inside their cutouts, with precision openings that look well designed and fit perfectly without any overlap or unsightly offset.

The back camera bump is protected with a slight lip that sticks out a bit beyond the regular camera bump. This adds only a little thickness that I don’t find noticeable, and will protect it from dings and scratches. The cutout is perfectly machined to fit the bump perfectly, and it almost looks like it is part of the original iPhone design.

There is a small section on the both sides that is clear instead of frosted and slightly indented. I found that this makes it even easier to hold the phone one-handed. On the side with the SIM tray there is text that says “KARAPAX”, but it is not overly obvious and does not take away from the minimal look of the case.

USE

Swiping up from the bottom of the phone (to go home or switch apps) is slightly impacted with this case on, since the protective portion extends around the bottom edge of the screen. I was used to starting my swipe at the bottom edge of the phone itself, but had to adjust this slightly higher up the screen with the KARAPAX Touch Case on. Not a big deal, but it did require a slight change in habit.

Everything else is excellent and did not impact my normal use.

BUILD

Unsurprisingly the case is extremely well made. It feels great in my hands and is free from sharp or rough seams, making it comfortable to hold in all situations. Many inexpensive cases have hard seams around the sides or bottom that can cut into my hands with prolonged use, but this case does not.

The frosted texture of the sides and back make it easier to confidently hold my iPhone without fear of it slipping around. It also allows me to place my iPhone on my couch arm again - something that a glass back doesn’t allow because of how slippery it is.

The KARAPAX Touch Case covers the side volume and lock buttons, but they remain easy to use without more force than without the case. Perfect! The silence switch is easily accessible and is well protected inside its cutout.

This case will protect your phone from short drops, dings, and scratches but is not made to protect against huge or repeated drops onto very hard surfaces. While I am confident that a drop from pocket height onto a hard surface will result in only damage to the case, I don’t imagine that this can happen many times or from much higher up. It is a trade-off for all thing, minimalistic, cases and I’m fine with that.

WIRELESS CHARGING

You can still safely charge your iPhone X wirelessly while using this case. I have successfully used wireless chargers from Anker, Mophie, and Yootech while this case is on my phone and have had no problems doing so. It just works.

VALUE

At just $11.99 at the time of my purchase, it is hard to find a better value. Anker makes great accessories and this is another one of the best. Without AppleCare+ or insurance it costs at least $199 to replace a broken iPhone X, and a $11.99 investment to avoid this is a great value. The design and build quality far exceeded my expectations, especially compared to other minimalistic cases that sell for $29 or more and offer less grip and protection.

I don’t hesitate in recommending this case to iPhone X owners looking for a well designed, minimalistic, case that offers good protection from everyday use and light drops.
