Because many of the devices I use are now USB-C, this particular Portable Charger is a breath of fresh air. I can now carry one wall charger, one portable charger, and one cable to keep my devices charge topped up.
High quality and highly recommended.
- this is a hard working, solid battery bank
- will properly and safely fast charge Samsung Galaxy / Note as well as iPhones
- cuts off when the device is full charged
- super small profile
- the battery input can take in fast charging through a USB C adapter (it aggravates me to have to charge a battery bank slowly this day in age)
- I wish there were more indicators showing remaining power in intervals of 10%.
I love this charger. After heavy use, it still rates pretty close to 10,000 mah and has not had any issues! It’s essentially a perfect buy! I appreciate that it safely charges my expensive devices and does so quickly. Cheap and unreliable chargers can cause significant damage to your electronics’ battery life.
Verdict: A thousand times yes!
For me, I'm using an iPhone 11 Pro Max. This power bank is perfect for my phone because apple limits the iPhone fast charging to 18W. 18W is also the max output on this charger via USB C. On days with super heavy usage, I can plug this into my phone via a USB C to Lightning cable (Sold Separately). I don't let my phone die completely. I usually start charging it at around 30% or so. After putting it on the charger, I can expect my phone to be around 60-70% in like 30 mins or so. It's great for when I'm in a pinch. The device itself doesn't take long to charge either. When I first got it, I think it took about 2-3 hours to fully charge it. The power bank was at less than 25% charge out of the box. Some people might think this is bad, but it can only charge so fast. My iPhone takes about 1.5-2hrs to charge from 0%. The iPhone has about a 3,969 mAh battery. This device taking about 33 pct longer to charge with 2.5 times more storage seems decent to me.
Something I've noticed with this particular power bank vs other that I've own is if you leave a cable plugged into it it'll slowly drain the battery. Other power banks I've had in the past never acted in this manner. At first, I thought it was a defect, so I sent it back to Amazon. The new one they sent me also had the same behavior. Come to find out this is normal. If you're planning on storing this for an emergency, store it with the cable not plugged in.
Again this power bank is Fantastic. Fits in my jeans fine, and I don't notice it. You won't go wrong with this one.

あと充電はAtom PD1やPower Port mini3で行いましたが3時間もかかっていない感じでした。
I contacted customer support and they confirmed that Anker does not currently sell any portable chargers with QC, PD and trickle charging support. This charger has PD and trickle charging, but no QC support, so it will only charge a Galaxy S8 at normal speeds. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge my phone.
I bought this phone thinking it was the future-proofed version of existing Anker power banks that were known for using Samsung fast-charging tech to charge a phone like the Galaxy S8 at maximum charging speed. This doesn't seem to be the case. I knew it had PD as well, which although the S8 doesn't support I knew that in the future I would likely get a phone that supports PD.
Unfortunately it seems that for people with a phone like the S8, this power bank is not for you. It does not fast-charge the S8 unlike the old Anker PowerCore II slim, and the S8 can't make use of the PD. So if you can't use the PD functionality (only newer phones) then the regular charging features seem to be worse than the older model Anker devices. I wish this was made clearer before purchase!
I love the look and feel of the device, it's small in my hand and feels dense so doesn't take up too much space. The included pouch and USB-C to USB-C cable (about 90cm long I guess?) seem to be good quality.
EDIT: I have now tried no less than 14 different chargers on this battery pack, and only 4 charge it. 2 of them are 2.1Amp 5v, the 3rd is a Nintendo Switch power supply and the 4th is my Macbook Pro Charger. The 2.1Amp chargers take about 9hours! The Macbook and Switch ones around 3.5-5hrs. Fair to say I wont be buying another Anker product anytime soon.
I'm also not sure it is providing the full 18W charging it promises as it charges slower than the wall charger supplied with my phone.
Following a minor issue/defect with the battery. Anker (Sophia) was truly awesome and offered impeccable support. They quickly identified the original wasn’t functioning correctly based on my comments, apologised and sent a replacement out immediately. This was received only 2 days later and worked perfectly. Communication, support and response times were all fantastic.
Never had a problem with a product resolved so quickly so Thanks again Anker!
This however supports fast charging for my Samsung Galaxy A70 which was the main reason for purchasing and due to it's capacity can easily manage 2 full charges. Recharging of the power bank itself is impressive at around 3 to 4 hours with a fast charger.
I've also now started using it for my Nintendo Switch as I often find myself repeatedly dying on various Cuphead levels for hours and refuse to be beaten.
My only gripe for £35 I was expecting to include a 18w pd usb c wall plug but it wasn't included. Therefore I brought one also by anker.
