Update: realized it’s not even the one I ordered!!!! I was just so upset that I had posted this and failed to realized this not even the unit I ordered, completely different!
There's not much setup, given this is a power bank. It comes with a USB-C cable and a power adapter that seems to have some special "IQ" technology in itself, so keep that in mind if you think you'd get away with random USB-C plugs (I imagine that'd make the charging a lot slower, but I am not sure.)
In general it's pretty easy to use ... plug it into the wall to charge until the dots on the button all light up, then plug devices into the USB-A or USB-C slot until there's no more lights left and your devices don't charge anymore. Rinse and repeat.
There's a power user mode for low-powered devices like headphones, where you press the button until one of the lights turn green. This is supposed to keep the battery from turning off as it usually does if the power draw is minimal. That isn't obvious and required me poring the manual (and isn't really explained in the manual either, you have to read up on it.)
Another unintuitive thing is you can't charge devices and be plugged into the wall at the same time ... so you can't just plug a device into it and have it connect via the battery to AC.
The device is a beast compared to smaller batteries. I don't think I'd take it around with me on everyday errands, but it is nice around the house to say keep my laptop charged while I'm on the couch watching TV, or if I know I'm going on a day trip and an keep a power station set up somewhere. Or maybe take it to a café in case I need it, that kind of thing.
Recently, it just stopped working, and the return window closed months ago..... When I plug it into charge, it looks like it's charging, but it can no longer hold any charge.
Expensive loss for a charger that I barely used!
Update: sorry, it was my fault. You can't charge this bad boy from your computer. You need to charge it via a direct electrical outlet. Pretty damn good product.
