This battery delivers the full 18 watts Switch can take from PD (despite a 39W official charger, Switch tops off at 7.5W with USB-A, 10W with USB-C and 18W with USB-C PD, with a peak power draw of around 8.7W). That's actually slightly faster than the official charger which usually averages around 17W (keep in mind this is undocked- only the official charger works when docked). On average, I was getting around 4% charge every 5 minutes, all while playing Zelda with full brightness and wifi on. That's... extraordinary. No "put in sleep mode to recognize" nonsense. It just works.
I also tested the wall charger which is included, and I can confirm that it does also work just as well for Switch. That may not sound impressive but I bought a few power delivery wall chargers to test and a few of them actually didn't deliver full Power Delivery with Switch for whatever reason.
Bottom line- this is currently the best portable battery you can buy for the Nintendo Switch. It's kinda big, but still fits in my case, charges faster than the official charger and has enough power to play Zelda or Mario Kart for nearly 24 hrs straight. Can't ask for more than that.
New review: After giving an ok review originally, because of battery drainage while not in use, Anker has sent me a new battery. The new battery has not had any drainage problem and I am very happy with it. Love the product and Anker's customer service
The real question is how many devices can you actually charge using the full 26800mAh capacity, and for how long? To figure this out, I charged the Powercore to 100%, and then proceeded to use it to charge my phone, as well as an iPad mini and a Switch. After about 3 hours, everything was fully charged and the Powercore was at 47%. I then used it to top up my MacBook from 70% to 100% and the Powercore was at 29%. So basically, you can expect the Powercore to charge nearly all of your devices at least once.
Moving onto the included wall plug, it’s a USB-C plug rated at about 30W. It’s a little bit smaller than the MacBook power adapter, and it has a blue light on the front to let you know your device is charging. It was able to charge the Powercore from 30% to full in about 3 hours in my testing. Considering the capacity, this is pretty impressive. The plug should also be able to charge any USB-C product, although not at the fastest speeds, and I can’t guarantee everything will work. In testing with my MacBook Pro, it was about 50% slower than the included 61W plug. The plug also got really warm while charging, about 115 F, but this didn't seem to affect charging speed. The plug is what really makes this product complete, as you aren't waiting for 5+ hours for your battery pack to charge.
I have two relatively minor complaints with this product. First, the Powercore doesn't seem to support pass through charging, meaning that you can’t plug your phone in to the battery, then the battery into the wall to charge both. The second is that the included cables are a little lackluster. For the price of the Powercore + charger combo, I would like to see braided cables included in the box. I ended up using some other USB-C cables I’ve already bought from Anker.
Overall, I would say this is almost certainly a must buy if you have a laptop that supports USB-C charging, a Nintendo Switch, or if you really need a huge battery. It is expensive, it is big and heavy, but I think that for the functionality and capacity you get, it is well worth the price.
And just like the first one, a few months in and the battery replacement also kicked the bucket. I really wanted to love this battery because of how much juice it holds but I can't deal with defective products. Their support staff has been nothing but great in helping me get a refund which is sad for me to say. I really loved this thing but they have to improve some of their inventory when it comes to defective products.
-ridiculous battery life
-power cable works on my phone
-Quality Control (received two lemon batteries)
-a bit heavy (trade-off for more juice)

There was a battery, wall charger, 2 cables (usb-c to usb-c, and USB to micro-usb), plus a pouch to carry the battery in. It's on the pricey side, but when the wall charger sells separately for approximately $40 Canadian, $110 for all of it is pretty reasonable.
I have used it to charge my phone, tablet and Nintendo Switch flawlessly. I had my phone and switch plugged in at the same time and after an hour the battery was only down 10%, while the Switch stayed at 100% the entire hour I was playing.
The 10 light indicator button is great! With each light representing 10%.
There is some weight to this battery, like half a brick almost. So it's not really an everyday pocket battery. But I intend to use it while travelling and emergencies and the USB-C power delivery is a nice bit of future proofing to ensure that I will be able to use it for a long time.
I think if there was plastic ends to this device, or rubber or anything on the corners, this would be a much safer device. But as it is I wouldn't recommend it if you ever put it into the same compartment (e.g. backpack, glove compartment, suitcase) as a phone or tablet.
This PD version is fantastic for the Pixel, new USB-C Macbooks and the Nintendo Switch. It's overkill for my needs but they didn't have the 10k version in Canada or the Nintendo branded one and you can't get Anker products shipped to Canada from amz.com which is irritating to say the least. I hope this address this.
The cable they include is not their thick premium cables that you can buy separately but it does the job. It's nice that they include the charger.
Its charging capabilities is great. Its core function unaffected saves its rating and its capacity could net you almost a full day of Switch gaming on the go.
I hope they resolve the manufacturing issue with the battery life LED indicators because they make great battery chargers and use premium battery cells.
Update 2019-01-12: Anker support kindly reached out to me and they sent me a new one with a fully functional battery life LED indicate. Yay! I bumped the star rating up 1 star.
I personally use a lenovo yoga 730 13 inch and the battery bank can charge that no problem. It can also charge hp spectre x360 13.
