Some advice -- Not all USB C ports are compatible with this. You need to make sure that your device has a USB C port that supports two things: 1) USB Power Delivery (PD), and 2) DisplayPort (DP).
Sometimes ports have some logos printed next to them. Power Delivery-compatible ports are often indicated with a lightning bolt symbol. DisplayPort-compatible ports are often indicated with the DisplayPort logo (look it up).
Sometimes ports aren't marked, and you have to look in your device's manual to find the details on port compatibility.

Determining Your DisplayPort (DP) Version:
The version of DP on your laptop, computer, or tablet directly determines the actual resolution when connecting to external monitors using the Anker hub. There are three simple ways to find out which version of DP your device has.
1. Ask your device manufacturer or seller directly.
2. If you're using a Windows device, you can tell which version of DP you have by checking your CPU generation.
- DP version 1.2 if your CPU is Intel generation 10 or earlier.
- DP version 1.4 if your CPU is Intel generation 11 or later.
- DP version 1.4 if you're using a workstation laptop with an NVIDIA GPU.
Don't know how to find your CPU generation? Simply go to This PC (or My Computer) > Properties and look for the number (shown in bold and underlined below):

Another fast, affordable, and great quality accessory from Anker!
I'm a techie, and from years of trying different accessories and dongles from multiple companies, Anker has become my go-to. They're high quality, reliable, and fast. This one came a little short of the true 1GB Ethernet speeds. Testing it via my 2GB Sonic Fiber connection, it clocked in at 930MB download and 830MB upload on my 2021 Macbook Pro via USB-C. But it's close enough! Could be slight interference, or my Macbook itself, or the Speedtest site. I also tested the SD card reader, and it also worked beautifully.
