I bought this cable just over one year ago because it is supposed to be "the world's most durable." It has seen light use. Tonight, when I tried to pull the lightning end out of my phone, the tip stayed in the phone and the cable broke away! See the attached photo. That sure doesn't seem like the world's most durable to me. I'm very disappointed.
Update: I filed a warranty claim with Anker and they promptly replaced the cable. All I had to do was give them the Amazon order number, the item SN# (which is printed on the cable itself), and send a photo of the cable with the Anker logo clearly visible. The replacement cable was sent out the next day and arrived a couple of days later. This is great customer service. Because of this, I increased the rating on my review. But I still can't give the item 4 or 5 stars because it did break in the first place.
Update#2: Anker has now sent me a Powerline III lightning cable for free. Now THAT is great customer service! I have only had the new cable for about a week, but the Powerline III does seem even more sturdy than the II.

Update: I filed a warranty claim with Anker and they promptly replaced the cable. All I had to do was give them the Amazon order number, the item SN# (which is printed on the cable itself), and send a photo of the cable with the Anker logo clearly visible. Auf den ersten Blick gut verarbeitetes Produkt, das ich im März 2017 kaufte. Mein 90 cm langes Kabel, das eigentlich immer fest mit einem USB-Anschluss am iMac verbunden ist, hat leider nach neun Monaten seinen Geist aufgegeben. Das Kabel musste täglich mein iPad aufladen. Leider hat es einen Wackler und ist direkt am Ansatz eingerissen, wodurch sich das Gerät nicht mehr regelmäßig aufladen kann. Das 2.
