I purchased this a week ago. Starting using it on Tuesday. I didn't really pay attention to the charge levels when I put it on or took it off. However, Wednesday, I noticed that it didn't seem to be charging too well. I put it to the test. It's been on and off the charger several times today without seeming to change the charge level. I put the phone on the charger almost half an hour ago (it had 80% charge). As of this moment, approx. 30 minutes later, it still has only 80% charge.
I'm not entirely sure if the lights on the charger are supposed to go off when it's charging, but they have only stayed on for me for around 20 seconds after laying the phone on it before turning off.
It's a very real possibility that I got a lemon, but I would NOT suggest buying this charger for the newer iPhones that have the larger batteries. Consider buying the stronger charger. I have a feeling this charger would work very well for Samsung phones, since it's specifically advertised for them.
EDIT: Anker personally got ahold of me to let me know that I got a lemon. Their responses were prompt and they took extremely good care of me. They shipped a new charger out to me and i haven't had an issue since. I've experienced very few issues with Anker products, but when I do, they definitely take care of me. Their Customer Service is second to none! I changed my 3 star to a 5 star for this reason. Thank you, Anker!

Anker Customer Surface contacted me via email thanking me for writing a review and following up about my issues with the product. They offered to ship to me for free their new 5W wireless charger. The charger arrived in the mail, and it is great. It charges must faster than the one I previously purchased. It's also black, but it's a standup charger, which I actually prefer. I will definitely purchase more Anker products in the future. Their customer service was great!
Purchased for the iPhone X. I know it doesn't fast-charge the iPhone, but after spending so much on the phone, I wanted to find a more affordable wireless charger. At first, this seemed to work great, but after a week I've noticed it takes longer and longer to charge my phone. There have also been multiple nights where I align it on the charger before bed and wake up to find the battery on 10%. In the mornings on these occasions, it looks to be aligned on the base, but I admit it's possible that vibrations from the phone have moved it overnight. If they have, any movement has been incredibly slight and the charger is extremely sensitive.
I've also noticed significant wear on the charging pad already.
I will probably have to buy a different charger.

I have always been on the fence regarding wireless charging. When it was released I thought it was way too expensive for the value it added to the consumer. Not only did it provide fast wireless charging but I was also small and subtle which I love since it pretty much fits on any table without looking out of place. The product fits the description,it fast charges when connected to a fast charging charger (picture attached) and it totally provides a new experience compared to wired charging, no need to attach and detach cables everytime you have to answer a call or move from where you are which sometime stopped me for plugging the phone at all because I knew I'd probably have to detach it again soon after.
I totally recommend this charger, from build quality to performance, totally top notch.
