Small, lightweight, affordable
I could hear it making a high pitched noise sometimes while charging (this is outside the range of hearing for most folks - for whatever reason I can hear certain frequencies others can not) - the noise was not very loud or annoying, it sits right next to my bed next to my ear and did not bother me.
The field strength of the device required me to place my phone *exactly* in the right spot
It has a green light that turns blue and flashes when charging. This was a little annoying next to my bed (but I had to be able to see it to ensure it was charging).
Had some issues charging after about a week, might be due to a bad USB cable (that came with another product), or a lose port on my USB charger fiddling with the cable where it plugged into the charger fixed it, so this might not have been an issue with the charging pad.
Due to the alignment issues I had, I went searching for a product with a better charging range (i.e. bigger coil?) and I ended up buying the CHOE Stadium Qi Wireless Charger which claims to have three charging coils and works much better. It was a bit more expensive, but thus far I am finding it very worthwhile. The CHOE also has a softer somewhat rubberized surface vs. the hard plastic of this Anker product.
For these reasons I am only giving this three stars (even though in general I like Anker products) and I am recommending you buy the CHOE product over this.
P.S. In the attached photo, the Anker product is on the left, the CHOE product is on the right and my Nexus 6 with the Supcase is on top.
Anker contacted me about two weeks ago and wanted to know if they could send me an updated version of their wireless charger and a longer micro USB cable. I was thoroughly impressed at the quality of the newer items. I decided to give the charger and the cable some use time before I submitted this update.

The wireless charger is not only smaller to make sure you are placing the device directly over the coil, it also has a rubber piece around the edge of it to grip your phone. The charger doesn't overheat and my phone stays in place. It's perfect.
The cable is very nice as well. It is 6ft in length, plenty long enough to reach an outlet and my nightstand. It is constructed very well. The connectors are tough and durable and the cable is rigid enough to stand lots of movement.
I'd also like to say that the customer service of Anker is on point. They found my review, even though I did not buy it directly from them, and wanted to make the situation right. This in my opinion is the epitome of customer service and I will be sure to buy Anker in the future, just because of this fact.
I've always wanted a rapid charger for my phone. The novel idea of just setting your phone down to charge was always appealing.
Sadly, my experience wasn't as good as expected. While the charger appears to be large enough, it actually only has a very tiny area where you can keep your phone on to charge. Which is very deceiving, because you have to move it around a couple of times to get a charge going on it. It's also very slick. If you own a smooth backed phone like I do, your phone will slide off constantly. This is also disappointing if you charge your phone next to your bed and you occasionally bump it at night. Nothing is worse than waking up to an uncharged phone when you expected it to charge.
The cord is also very short. Don't expect to be able to plug the cable in and have it reach the top of a nightstand or table. You'll need to buy a longer one.
You'll have to remove your case as well. The charge cannot penetrate anything the thickness of paper. Seriously.
