Overview:
Everybody needs an external battery nowadays, but there are so many to choose from on Amazon. Anker is one of the best selling brands for external batteries, cables, and miscellaneous electronic gizmos, and this product is yet another one of their well thought out creations. I've tried Aukey and RavPower, but they do not come close to the user support (easy support emails / constant interaction with disgruntled reviewers on Amazon) that Anker has to offer. If anything goes wrong within the first 18 months, rest assure Anker will make things right.
Function:
This battery is a 6700 mAh battery that outputs 10 watts (5 volts & 2 amps) and takes in 5 watts (5 volts & 1 amp). I have included pictures of my observations with the charging of the battery (1 amp), the charging of my iPhone (~1.59 amps at 73%), and the charging of my iPad (~2.33 amps at 63%). This battery pack goes above and beyond the specifications and expectations. This should be capable of charging my iPhone 7 plus's 2900 mAh battery almost twice! (while the battery does have 6700 mAh, it's not 100% efficient. This is the case with all external chargers. Multiply it by a factor of 0.7 to get a more pragmatic usable mAh).
Build:
This battery pack is a glossy black finish (think the jet black iPhone 7) with a curved rectangular shape. One gripe is that there will be scratches that will inevitably accumulate on this battery pack. It comes with a mesh carrying case and a micro-usb charging / data cable. It has only one port, so you cannot charge two devices at the same time. However, that's what makes this battery worth considering. How often are you going to be out and about and use up all 20,000+ mAh of some gigantic battery packs out there? It's a lot of weight to be carrying if you're in a situation where you can charge up your battery every night.
I highly recommend this item and urge you to consider your needs before you purchase something significantly bigger, bulkier, and expensive than this.

Once I got it I hooked it up to the wall charger and let it fully charge to the 4 blue dots which took about 4-4.5 hrs as stated. Then since my iPhone was at 19% I decided to try it out so I connected it with my syncwire cable and let it fully charge to 100%, which only took about 1hr 45min. Now thats faster than when I charge my phone without the anker!
Even after charging my phone the anker still has 3 blue dots left, so getting almost 2 full charges from it for your phone is possible like the company states.
Overall for $20 I'm extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a extra battery for their devices for whatever reason. I'll also update this review after I have had it for awhile.

The size and weight is perfect. I have tested a few of the portable battery chargers. This one will charge your device with full 2A and It will also recharge itself with 1A as described. Useable capacity is 3883mAh at 5V. It will take 7 hrs to recharge.
