This thick book is mostly an admirer's opinion (with chronological summery research) of the actress/singer's films & stage work.
Missing are photos of her husband & children.--i.e., Information about her marriage, children and the impressions and opinions of family, friends, co workers about Blyth, her character & temperament. Ditto a critical evaluation of her work.
Although Blyth is still living and has for decades extensively expressed her views in interviews about her personal life, the films she was in, her directors and fellow actors scant is covered in this book & there is little (if any) new source material from this fine performer.
A lengthy interview with Blyth newly critiquing her film career, associates & life's experiences would have been appreciated.
