I like dry fruits they are great snacks, but the only discomfort I have with this fruits is that they are too sweet at least for my taste, but there cover with sugar , I made hot tea and I drop a couple off pieces to try to remove the extra sugar , this dry fruits will be good in a fruit cake ,

The hands down favorite is the cantaloupe and the kiwis. It is worth the longer ship time because it's a great reward at the end, the only downside making at a four-star review is that it's more candied fruit than dried fruit, so the sweet factor is really high. But I never had dried cantaloupe before and that was awesome!

When I set out to buy a bag of sugar, I wasn't quite sure if this was going to work for me. The nutrition facts explicitly state that 5 out of 40 grams of this product is NOT sugar! Why would I spend my hard-earned money for not sugar when I could easily go buy a bag of pure sugar for less? Still, I decided to give it a try anyway. Boy was I impressed!

You truly won't be disappointed in this. It's sweet and grainy, just like pure sugar! It's so sweet you can't hardly taste any of the processed fruit product they mix in. And the texture! Oh, it's moist and smooth yet sandy, like eating honey mixed with pure cane sugar. If you're trying to develop type 2 diabetes, look no further. Just eat one of these bags per week and your insulin resistance will skyrocket!

My only complaint is that in some cases I could still taste a fruity flavor. It wasn't with every piece I ate, but there was enough fruity flavor that I worried they might have contaminated this batch with real fruit at the factory. But it was only a minor after taste and not noticeable most of the time.

Also, the label is a little misleading. The product says "dried fruit". Probably some mixup with an intern. But don't be fooled, this is pure sugar. If you're looking for real dried fruit, then DO NOT BUY THIS.

Well, I must have ordered this when I was really hungry! It came today, just one day late. It doesn't bother me to much that it was a little late, though it would have if it was delayed any longer.

As for the product, when I opened the bag (which is made from pretty heavy duty, sturdy plastic, and zips closed for easy storage), I was immediately hit with a chemical/preservative type of smell. It dissipated a little, but it's still hanging around the top of the open bag.

There are lots of good sized pieces fruit in this mix. The quantity is more than I expected. It seems like it is very fresh; there are a number of types of good sized, brightly colored fruits in this mixture, which signals to me that it's fresh- for what it is..and also making it easier to pick out exactly what you want to snack on.

As for the taste, it's just okay.... There's a funky favor that I'm finding difficult to explain. I think it could have a bit to do with that smell I mentioned... It's almost like it is only on the surface of the fruit, albeit on every piece I've eaten so far.. This leads me to think that it's that non-sugar, sugaryish coating. Once I bite into it and taste the actual fruit, it seems to be less noticable. The sweetness is probably the worst though. It's way sweeter than I thought it would be... I just wind up only taking chipmunk sized nibbles, so I don't overwhelm my taste buds!

I don't think I will buy this for myself ever again. Actually, I'm already thinking about dividing this bag up and seeing if my mother or sister want some (in all likelihood, it will go bad before I finish it), as they like dehydrated fruits more than I do.

Some people like this, as it had great reviews (why I bought it in the first place). I feel bad only giving 3 stars, but it's my honest review. Lots of people could get this same thing and feel as if it's the best dried fruit on the market, however, after this, I will probably be sticking to fresh produce.

I originally bought this for my parrots. Especially for the dried kiwi. I have one parrot who loves kiwi and finding good quality, fresh fruit for them isn't very easy in Arizona. I wasn't sure what to expect at first but when this fruit arrived I can say I was pleasantly shocked by the size and absolute freshness of the fruit. It's SO soft and fresh I can break it apart easily (even with chronic pain in my hands) to give to the smaller bird. This isn't just cheap fruit. The quality is amazing and so fresh. My birds cannot get enough of it. I was worried they wouldn't like it and now I cant get them to stop eating it! I even had one bird go into full stealth mode, sneak away from his cage, into the pantry, and I caught him trying to break into the bag!
I also caught my 7 year old son eating the fruit like candy.
I will definitely be buying this fruit again and again.

The dried fruit arrived in a large lined envelope. When removed from the envelope the fruit was in one large slab. The individual pieces were all stuck together with the outside pieces being very hard and difficult to chew. The pieces were difficult to separate-some had to be torn apart. The few interior pieces were normal and quite tasty.
I was very surprised by the quality because I have ordered this same product at least once before and it was very good.
