Annell St. Charles was born in Nashville, Tennessee, giving her the status of "Native Nashvillian" and causing envy in the thousands who are now striving to make the "IT" city their new home. She earned a Bachelor's degree from Peabody College in Human Behavior, a Master's in Public Health Nutrition, and a Doctorate in Nutrition Science both from the University of Tennessee. She also holds a diploma in digital photography from the Shaw Academy.
Annell has spent most of her professional life delivering lectures and writing books on health topics for medical professionals and the public. As a teenager, she was very involved in writing poetry and feature articles for her high school newspaper. Her foray into fiction began when she was a young adult, but has remained on the back burner until the recent publication of her first novel, "The Things Left Unsaid".
She lives in Nashville with her Greek-born husband, Costas Tsinakis, with whom she shares a love of the Sea. They make frequent trips to their condo on Hilton Head Island, and yearly visits to Greece and other European spots. Annell is an avid walker and photographer, and can often be spotted roaming the streets and beaches of her environs in pursuit of these two passions.
