Hey there! So I kind of, sort of, started some promo by offering up old swag and my stock of books that’s been in storage FOR-EV-ER. Now I have room for new stuff. *heart eyes*
After chatting with my lovely editor and my street team of bloggers, I’ve come up with a REALISTIC timeline and a plan of events leading up to Living with the Dead’s publication.
Starting in September, Taking on the Dead and Controlling the Dead will be available for everyone across all platforms (B&
I’m officially back to work this morning, surrounded by boxes and our contractor working around me, but I’m working so that’s what counts. My fingers actually feel kind of funny tapping the keyboard because it’s been approximately two months since I’ve written ANYTHING.
For those of you that follow me on FB know I’ve been in a grueling and stressful process of building a house and then moving into said house. The house was two months behind schedule (still is if I’m being honest). I c
I have news. Last night, I published Bailing Out into the Dead.
Anyway, I *think* a few people might be confused that this is Living with the Dead, Book Three of the Famished Trilogy. There was alot of excitement. My apologies if you thought so. The whole book is in Rudy’s POV and his backstory during the zombie outbreak, how his friendship with Mac started, and his first impressions of Kan. This book also includes the FIRST FIVE CHAPTERS of Living wi
I’ll be uploading Bailing Out into the Dead this Sunday night, so it should be available sometime on Monday. I’ll, of course, post links. This book is longer than a standard novella, so I do consider it a novel. Nowhere near as long as the Trilogy books themselves. For those who don’t know, this is Rudy’s story in his POV. I do recommend reading Taking on the Dead and Controlling the Dead first. There’s also a LONG sneak peek of Living with the Dead at the end (first five c
So I’ve been hitting up a coffee brew called “hyper bean” the past couple of days because the grocery store is a chore I hate. Yeah, I know it doesn’t make sense. If I can get the convenience store coffee, surely I can take a trip to the grocery. I’m just practicing for when I get out into the country is all. Miles and miles away from civilization.
Anyway, today I’m going to ramble about my Famished Trilog
Hey guys…. hard at work here. Here’s some things to get you excited!! Thanks for being patient. It’ll be worth the wait.
My face heated. I stalked a few steps. His eyes widened as I balled my fist and swung it low. I connected under his chin, feeling his teeth snap together. I launched myself on top of him before he could recover. Another swing
A while back, I had you guys send in questions for some goodies! Some questions I’ve already answered here. I picked a few I thought everyone would benefit from knowing.
–Will you miss these characters? I will. I can’t begin to tell you what Kan, Rudy, and the gang mean to me. They’ll always hold a special place in my heart. They aren’t just characters, but a representation of the craft I was unsure I had. A talent, I believe I haven’t even begun to tap into. Hold tight to your knicke
Happy Labor Day Weekend!!! I know everyone is out enjoying the waning days of summer, but I wanted to put this post out there sooner than later. It’s a long one, but hopefully entertaining as well as informative.
I’ve been MIA for a loooooonnnnnggggg time. The last I gave a public update was May 2015. I cringe when I look at that date. It sucks, I know. I get messages, emails, and posts EVERY DAY. I haven’t forgotten about my calling to entertain your imaginations.
It’s here again. And since it’s the fourth year, we’re having to get crafty with our theme. This year it’s Monster Insects and I immediately knew what I wanted to do. ZOMBIE ANTS!!!!
And no, I’m not talking about the fungus covered ants (seriously, look it up after this), but a parasite.
Now, there are a few parasitic insects like fleas, lice, bed bugs…but how interesting are those? What are you gonna learn here? Nothing! So, I’ll tell you about a favorite and keep it short an
