Delicious GF Mac & Cheese
This macaroni and cheese is a favorite in our house. Easy to make with just milk and butter. I do think the pasta needs the full 12 minutes to cook properly. I add a little black pepper to the finished product.My only disappointment is that the box seems to have less pasta compared to a non-GF box of Annie's Mac & Cheese.

This mac and cheese is stupendous. I had never had any until I came home the other day and my wife handed me a bowl of white cheddar mac and cheese for dinner. I knew it would be gluten free because we don't eat gluten, so I wasn't sure if the noodles would be good, given that some GF products can be hit-or-miss.

I was shocked when I ate the first bite of this. It is creamy and the noodles taste like real noodles--none of that stiff taste that some GF noodles are known to taste like. Another thing that makes this mac and cheese so delicious is that the cheese doesn't clump up like the cheese in other mac and cheeses do. Finally, the cheese has the perfect mix of richness and tartness. It has a nice taste and is a bit unusual (in a good and welcome way) for a mac and cheese mix.

The icing on the cake: buying this 12-pack turns out to be $2 cheaper per box than our local grocery store.

Downsides (there are a couple):

(1) We're down to box 2 of 12. This shipment arrived within the past seven days, folks.

(2) I've started making it for dinner now on more nights than I'd like to admit (see #1 immediately above for the result of that). Sadly, when I hand my wife her bowl of macaroni, she always asks with a glimmer of hope, "This isn't the WHOLE box, is it?" But it always is. It's darn near impossible to eat just one serving. So, we end up wasting 80% of our daily calories on whey, cultured pasteurized milk, non-animal enzymes, and sodium phosphate.

Essentially, we can't go back to any other brand! It's delicious! And there's no comparison between this and Annie's single-serving microwave mac and cheese; this one is the clear winner.

I can’t even tell you how many brands of mac and cheese I have tried. My last attempt was a brand called Amy’s Mac and Cheese…OMG I thought I was eating cardboard that is exactly what it tasted like. I couldn’t even finish it so I passed it along to someone else who eats anything and they couldn’t finish it either. So, I was about to just give up and accept the fact that there are no healthy versions of Mac and Cheese that are eatable and even remotely tastes good. I was wrong. THIS ONE DOES. I love mac and cheese. Tried mac and cheese made out of quinoa, etc. that were just awful… Tried this brand and LOVED IT! This doesn’t use any corn starch either. This is tasty and for me to say that, it says something. I ate it all. And, surprisingly it is cheap. How many products that are gluten free are cheap…this might be the only one. For the price you cannot beat this product. Hands down the best healthy mac and cheese I have ever eaten. I am 100% confident even kids would eat this. However, I didn’t use low fat milk when making it as per instructions. Instead I used Almond milk. So long story short…I am buying several boxes of this to have on hand in the cupboard for when I feel the need to have mac and cheese or when my nephew wants some…if you are like me and have tried about everything there is to try…try this you won’t be sorry. My exhaustive search for mac and cheese is finally over YAHOO!
