Well, like the other people here...it lasted 176 days. I contacted Annin and got the response below. You'd think the "the Strongest, Longest Lasting Flag" would last longer.

Authentic Annin flag, but lower than normal quality

The good: what I received does appear to be a genuine Annin flag. It came in an identical box with all matching paperwork just like the 2 or 3 other identical flags I've bought before from other sources. The not-so-good: the quality level on the one I got is way down. The fabric appears to be the same, but this one has lots of loose threads between the sewn-together white and red stripes, I hope it doesn't fall apart, and in a couple places at the seam on the end of the flag, the fabric was wrinkled or mis-folded, then the wrinkles were sewn right over (see picture). It probably won't be all that noticeable at the top of the flag pole, but it is disappointing because these flags are significantly more expensive than other options and up until now I've gotten very good quality, this one is just okay. Not quite bad enough to hassle with returning, but a bit disappointing. This one should have been rejected at the factory and re-sewn before they shipped it out.

1. The weaving on the fabric isn't tight and you can see right through the stripes in sunlight. This was not an issue with the Grace Alley flag.
2. The stitching of the stars was not as robust as the stitching on the Grace Alley flag. You can see blue under some of the stars on the Annin flag - not the case with Grace Alley.
All around, I was pretty disappointed after buying into the hype on Annin's product description. I will promptly be returning this for a Grace Alley.
If you're using this flag indoors, the first concern about weaving may not matter to you.
