Numerous lessons were demonstrated and discussed within this novel, and each character depicted scenes in our actions in the real world.
I loved this novel and wish this dynamic author continued success in her dynamic writing career.

Trinity had been hurt in the past
She didn't know if she could love again. Xander came into her life and he changed that for her. Until her best friend was putting him down. Mina was rude to him and had Trinity thinking he was trying to hit on her. He wasn't she was trying to keep her from knowing that she was sleeping with her ex-boyfriend. In the end Roland did her the same way he had done her. He cheated on Trinity and he did the same thing to Mina. It was an enjoyable book.

Xander and Trinity have a beautiful and complicated mix of friends to lovers after one steamy night love story. Xander was the perfect gentleman and fought hard for the woman he loved. He just needed her to do a little fighting on her end as well. Excellent read!

I enjoy this author. This is my 3rd book. Great romantic story. Both Xander and Trinity had rotten significant others in their lives . They both had a second chance at love. Trinity let her past decisions with her ex-losers, almost cost her the ideal man & love of her life. I was really getting tired of her silliness with her not letting go of the past, and embracing her future . She dragged it out too long. Needed to be knocked upside the head. Glad she came to her senses, before it was too late. Her best friend Mina was a low down dog. I knew she wasn't any good, when she lied on Xander and tried to get Trinity to turn against him. Now Xander, he is the total package & the ideal man for me. Especially, making me his priority, loving me, loyal, honest, can cook, just the perfect gentleman . Waiting for your next release! I'd love to see them in a follow-up novel.

This book gave me all the love feels I could munster up in 4 hours. I did not want this story to end! Trinity and Xander had me at go, and they never let me go. This book was written well and it was a quick and easy read. I'm surprised that Joy isnt a full-time writer, since this book was simply amazing. I cried for the love I too desire and rooted for Trinity to finally experience what a real man and pure love felt like. Xander was all kinds of fabulous! Cicely and her husband raised a great and wonderful man. This was my book club selection of the month and I'm super excited to discuss it. Do yourself a favor and read this one! It wilk be the best 4 hours you can spend with a book.

I was pleasantly surprised while looking for something to read, I stumbled upon a new book by Joy Avery. Ms. Avery is a wonderful writer I discovered a few months ago and since than have read all her books. Her characters are always well developed and her story lines are interesting and very easy to follow. Ms. Avery, through her character Trinity, showed that in order to receive love we must first think we are worthy of love. I loved how Trinity's character was able to work through her issues to reach her happily ever after with Xander. The only thing I can say about Xander Duvall is what a man, what a man!!!!! Good job Ms. Avery.
