Initially, we found that we had to angle the Anova on the pot just right so that the circulating blades didn't contact the metal housing. As you can imagine, it makes noise and will reduce the life of the motor. The problem (see my uploaded pictures) is that the shaft is not centered. It looks like it was designed to be centered, but then they added a metal hose clamp to attach one metal rod to the heating element (see pic). This configuration pulls the whole shaft at an angle and makes it a very narrow opening on one side for the circulating shaft / blades. The clicking has gotten intolerable with use. I contacted Anova and days later got a response that they wanted to bring my unit in for diagnosis. I sent them a response with questions and days later, no response. ***Update - one week later, Anova finally responded and sent a replacement. The new unit has worked as designed for several weeks.

I have been extremely happy with my Anova WiFi Sous Vide cooker. I set up the WiFi as instructed, tightened the supports to the side of my water filled tub and got my sirloins ready. I do not have a vacuum seal yet so I used the water displacement method with ziplocks. I started preheating the water and ran out of time to wait so I through them in and left. As I was out, I was on the Anova App reading some recipes. I found one that called for the temperature to be a little lower for that cut of meat. I clicked cook this recipe and it altered my temperature and set a time automatically. After I did that, the actual temperature reading on the app started to rise incrementally.
-Excellent results with especially steak and pork. Chicken is good but not quite the impressive results like steak
-WiFi use is from what I can tell, excellent. I think others may have issues with phone compatibility or operator error.
-Absolutely foolproof. If you go to Serious Eat's website for info, you can find 101's on how to cook everything imaginable.
-Cooking away from home I don't 'think could be any safer or easier. The icebath method works great setting up before work and having it ready when you get home
-Relatively expensive when you have all the accessories that I would recommend for this (Large dedicated container $20, vacuum sealer $50+, vacuum sealer bags) all on top of the actual cooker that is on the pricey side
-Not pertaining to the cooker specifically but Sous Vide, the meat comes out gray and not appetizing. Make sure you sear/grill to finish!
I would absolutely purchase again for the sake of simplicity and overall quality of the product it produces. WiFi makes this a no-brainer
