With this power supply, I did find one issue, With an ASUS Formula V motherboard, the two 4Pin connectors at the top of the motherboard are further apart than the wires allow with the shrink wrap/mesh cover, I had to cut the mesh back and re-shrink wrap it lower on the cables to get both pins in.

Pros:
100% of what the product says it has, it has, no hassle.

Cons: As stated above, but I cannot fault this product for the design of the motherboard, as its (at least in my experience) a unique design that I have yet to see.

What this is powering for me.

I originally had a 200wt PSU in my HP Pavilion, and after quite a few upgrades, it sizzled out on me. I replaced it w/ a Corsair 600wt after reading great reviews and hearing the praise that Corsair gets for their products. I had a totally different experience, the one I got sizzled out after only 3 weeks of mild use. That destroyed my opinion of Corsair, and will never purchase any of their products again. I replaced the Corsair w/ this 900wt Antec, and am very pleased. So far it's been in heavy use for about 2 months (Gaming and 3dsMax) in a new gaming rig, and have had no problems. It came w/ it's own felt case, and all the wires are plenty long enough for my large Rosewill case. Everything about this product is high-quality.

I purchased this Antec 400W PSU to replace one by another highly reputable PSU brand. This was for a new computer I built just a couple months ago. The other PSU was the loudest component in my case; it was rated very high so I may have just gotten a dud ... the company promptly issued an RMA to replace it. I didn't want to be without my PC while waiting for the replacement PSU so I did some research for a 'quiet' PSU and came across this Antec High Current Gamer. All the published product reviews were great then I read some of the negative consumer reviews here and I almost decided not to buy it. Am I glad I chose to go for it. This Antec High Current Gamer is super quiet with the 135mm fan and 80 Plus Bronze rating. Now my PSU is the quietest fan in my case. When I get the replacement PSU from the other company I'll sell it ... I'm definitely keeping this Antec.

I have always been a fan of the Antec product. It has never done me wrong, always ran on the cool side, and delivered ample power. This power supply continues on with the reputation Antec has left in my mind.

When you compare the price to others out there, its a no-brainer. Antec reliability and durability with a good price compared to others of similar wattage.

It had more than enough plugs to power my three sata hard drives, 1 data dvd burner, two plugs for my ATI HD7950 video card.

Have been using it from almost 2 months with no problems at all. Great performance with low noise. This is a large PSU so it will not fit in small case enclosures.

I bought this about 2.5 weeks ago. After doing a lot of research on which PSU brand had the most reliability, the names that stood out were Corsair, XFX, and Antec. I didn't plan to buy this until the last minute.

I chose this because it provided me more power at a lower price compared to Corsair. If choose to go SLI or Crossfire, I am certain that this will be able to handle the job. The accessories that came with it had plenty of reusable zip ties, and the psu size fit perfectly inside the AZZA Hurrican 2000R. Because of it's right size for my case, I was able to install an optional case fan (140mm/120mm). Another reviewer said that the cables are a bit stiff, and they are partially right. I adjusted the zip ties that were originally placed on the cables, and separated sections to make the cables more convenient and flexible for my build. I would only recommend purchasing this if you have a full tower case. Installing this PSU was simple and so far I have not encountered any problems.

The beginning and the end. My particular power supply didn't fail catastrophically, but it did give me symptoms of failure along the way. I've had USB devices that were not properly recognized until I restarted the computer. Okay, not that big of a deal, and not all USB devices are created equal. Suddenly, these past couple of days, my PC would click off as if someone had yanked the surge suppressor from the wall. Okay... not that great. Then, after less than 2 years of operation, my SLI'd graphics cards stopped booting to the BIOS screen, and would just load straight to the Windows home screen. Weird. Then, it just stopped booting to Windows altogether, until I went into the machine and disconnected one of the cards (to reduce overall power draw from the power supply). All of a sudden, it started working like normal. The next day, I over-nighted an EVGA *modular* power supply for about 30 bucks (and 100 watts) more than this piece of junk. Turns out, graphics cards are working fine off of the new setup, and essentially all issues I had before are resolved.

Long story short- Go modular, and go with something that will last longer than this. Even if you have a modular system fail, all you should have to do is disconnect it, and throw in a new one, not re-invent the wheel like I had to do today. It took a solid two hours re-wiring the entire system.
