This bouquet is SHIPPED, not delivered. That means your recipient has to cut open a shipping box and take the plant out of packaging. The plant is very well packaged and came out "looking alive".
You could kill this thing but I do not know how. The rock IS the pot. All you do is place the rock in one of those little plastic plant trays and add water to the tray. When the rock has soaked up all the water, add more. The plant is nowhere near a window at my place and it is thriving just fine. I have had it for a month now. Because of its small size and low maintenance I would recommend this plant as an office gift or a gift for someone who lives in a dorm room.

Great plant.... I still have them, its not hard to take care off, like any other indoor or house plant.Published 11 months ago by Edlyn Amancio
Died within days. I read and followed the directions but it still died. And it had little black bugs coming out of the roots....Published 18 months ago by Nilda Pomar
This arrived looking good, as it lost only one leaf in shipment. But it lost many leaves quickly, and was soon dead - even though the rock soaked up a lot of water.Published 22 months ago by Sandra C
My mother loved it. Came in good condition and healthy. Easy to take care of.Published 23 months ago by Celena Duncan
Just eye catching color and large deep green leaves. Love the red blooms! Fascinating that it grows out of a lava rock. Read morePublished on June 17, 2014 by Deborah vendetta
