Over time I eventually reverted to my old bad habits and of course my health worsened once again. Recently when I decided to renew my commitment to better health I was at least relieved that if I had to start all over again that I trust the wisdom found in this book and I know that it's the roadmap I need to follow if I want to *sustain* better health. Everyone that has struggled with poor health, diet or weight issues knows how difficult following even GREAT advice can be; for me, the right advice and knowledge is found here in simple terms, but it's all about sticking with the program.
I can sincerely recommend this book because for the two years I followed Dr. Black's advice I enjoyed the best health I'd ever had.
As to my willing guinea pigs, each family member I recommended the book to uses it to some degree or another. To the degree that they don’t use the book much, I find it has never been the fault of the author, but the individual’s unwillingness to give up the very things that are causing them strife. Alas, changing habits is the hard part for us all.
