My toddler is strong willed and very curious. He likes to explore and frequently will just keep walking or running in every direction but the one I tell him to go. I am also pregnant so chasing him is sometimes more challenging.
I bought this specifically to use at the beach as we go frequently and he likes to run straight for the water. This has been a HUGE help in keeping him from leaving our shaded area and sprinting into the ocean before I can stop him.
I NEVER thought I would ever be a "leash" mom, but I also never had a toddler that was very persistent and stubborn and determined to do what he had in his mind vs what we were directing him to do. I don't use it often, but am thankful to have it when we are in the beach where he wants to run off and explore more than I can keep up with.
He does not mind wearing it and the clip makes it so he cannot just take it off himself. I do with it was a little longer so he had a little more length, but overall am happy with it for what we needed it for.
